What is the deal with the douche-bag drivers?? Had 2002 BMW 328 try and prove his skills with one foot on the gas and another on the brake on my ass today. Sure I didn't signal my lane change, but neither did he. WTF? Someone has a road rage issue and needs to be spanked.

This rush hour commuting is killing me. I've decided that I will save my retirement money for a limo w/ personal driver. I don't care if I live in a fucking shack with plywood windows, as long as I don't have to drive in rush hour traffic anymore.

26 is a bitch no matter how you look at it.. no one seems to know how to enter the tunnels in the morning and no one seems to know how to get in one lane heading back near 185th.. and what really grinds my gears is when someone in the far right brakes for some stupid reason and since that person did everyone around them brakes too cause they feel they need to..

and dont get me started on 217 issues.. i got the problem solver of them all.. its called 4 lanes the whole way back and forth and the far left lane is a speed limit of 75 no slow people!, Done!

I actually don't mind driving on the Sunset Hwy. Of course it's gotten worse in the 18 years I've commuted from Hillsboro to SW Portland, but I can still drive the 16 miles from my office to my house in a about 22-23 minutes at 4pm.

Of course, the drive to the office is great. At 5:10am, I get to the office in 17-18 minutes!

26 isn't bad unless it's 5pm or 7:30am or it's raining. Though no one can drive here in the rain. I agree with Brandon though, we need more lanes. That way slow drivers don't get in the way. You mix slow drivers on the highway and everyone wants to pass including other not as slow drivers... That's when accidents occur. I tend to think the slower you are driving the less alert you are because you are more easily distracted by things like the radio, phone, etc...

dont need german town now since im on the other side of the bridge.. when i worked in beaverton i would always take german town to skyline to sprinville rd could get back and forth in 20 minutes if i hit the lights and pass a few cars =)

BTW i know of a method to eat those speed bumps down =) been thinking of laying it out the main reason they put them there is cause of the god damn bikers

OH... and if traffic is starting to get backed up there is a second way down to avoid speed bumps and traffic take Harbor blvd its right off german town as you are getting closer to the bottom (it takes you to hwy 30) then take the ramp back up to st johns bridge

Same here with all of the above.
The issue I face is that I either leave home really, really, really early for work and head home really late, or face the 5pm & 7:30am rush. The earliest I can get out of here is 4:53pm, which does help a little. The ideal workday for me would be 6:30-4:00, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
All this talk about commuting has got me thinking about a half day today and a sick day tomorrow.

Harbor? I'll have to google that.
Don't get me started on the bike riders (a sore spot in many Helvetia residents minds)...I have a bike and you'll never see me on the street (I value my life).

Hey Brandon -

Thanks for your help today man! Wife loves it so mission successful.

As far as meets go, the usual suspects will be there (Brandon and myself) and I'm in for next month. That is if I can get a sunny weekend and a week of dryness so I am motivated to detail the TSX. As Brandon saw today it's in pretty sorry shape lol.

Two kids robs you of that free time. Though Preston is getting really into it, which is awesome, I always wanted a son that could love cars the same way I do. When he's 16 watch out LOL. If we do a day time meet (and people actually show up, you know who you are ) we should do that old abandoned ice cream shop up where Germantown RD and Skyline cross. Saw a subie meet there looked like a good spot and would be a cool scenic drive.

On vacation!
Went to Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum yesterday. Worth every penny (especially if you are a gearhead).

yup gap now. dont think i can do a bridge cause the number 31 is sunk up front and might sink alittle more since the 30 and 32 were taken.. ( for the non-dental folk.. 32 is your right wisdom 31 is molar and so on)

might had to get an implant.. were they screw a plat form to the bone then screw a fake tooth to that

Yea, real food.
You still have dogs for sale? Buddy is putting down his Bull tomorrow (second and final bout with cancer), he may be interested in a pup. Although you never know he might not want to go through that loss again. This guy is a bad ass, he could back down a bear with just the look in his eye, yet I saw a quiver in his lip when he told me about his loss.

Clarification, that was a Boxer he is putting down. Just looked over your prev posts and couldn't find the one with your price. How many do you still have?

My wife and i know all to well about a horrible loss our first bulldog female was diagnosed at 6 months with a born spinal issue and we had to put her down it was the hardest thing ever cause not only in that 6 months you are pouring your heart out to find out whats wrong with them but to watch them up until that last day be the happiest puppy they could be and not have a clue. ill never ever forget when we took her in to put her down.. not to get sappy but i was very sad..

our website is http://smithbulldogs.tripod.com if it doesnt show up PM me and i will send it to you that we have 6 total all currently avail but listed on oregonlive.com and we have already a few people contacting us.. so if they want first dibs its going to be a rush thing soon

Chick magnet!

I need a dog that repels the creepy girls that have daddy issues and or were molested by their uncle. I seem to attract them even now that I have a good girl. My H.S. yearbook voted me most likely to marry a stripper.

Probably would have but was at Home Depot getting screws so britt could have her damn license plate cover on the back of the Jetta. Fecking Germans put good screws in for Euro plates and some cheapy plastic thing to retrofit in US plates. So yes, bolts 6 washers for spacers cause there is no 2/3rds inch and did not feel like dremeling the bolt made it work lol. Was awesome.
