Evo no mas Steve-o! The lay off from my primary job made me give the car back to the bank but it's all good. The MR2 is the first gen ('85) that I use as my DD, and the other is a that's used for fun and de-stressing

So what's the verdict on these wheels?? I've heard some say they are good wheels and others say that they're just knockoffs. They are MB Battles sold exclusively by discount tires.

I already ordered them in matte bronze. 17x9.5 +15. Saw another guy on here with them and they looked pretty good. Plus they're about $1100 cheaper than the Work wheels I was looking at.

Unfortunately, the "real" vs "replica" wheel debate will always be around and be a topic no one will ever agree on. But overall, it all comes down to what YOU want to spend on your car...all others are just opinions, but final say always rests on the owner's preference.

The deciding factor was definitely the price. The Work wheels I was looking at were about $310 more per wheel. Plus these were more concave which is what I wanted

reps and real wheels have its pros and cons...i dont know any reps that are 3 piece i can tell you that lol...and i dont know any real wheels with no lip that have an aggressive fitment as much as rota grids...say 18x9.5 +15...volks TEs wont even look close to that...

its all personal class and style

Yeah thats another thing I was thinking about. I was also looking at the TE37's but there is an entire thread on here of people with just those wheels. Its impossible to find a wheel that nobody has.

So I decided to spend the extra money for the Work XT7. 18x9.5 +20. Wanted to go lower but I would've started to hit fender.

I got a rear camber kit. Nothing in the front. I have about a half inch of clearance front and back. Starting thinking about those road trips to Vegas with the wife, baby, 2 dogs, and our luggage and didn't want to go lower.
