What's the traffic law for the following situation? See the attached image.

Some people keep on stopping at this intersection (circled in red). They stop (at the green circle) for minutes until there's a red light so they can cut across to the left lane.

There is no STOP sign or YIELD sign. There is also a solid white line for them to get their speed up to merge. There are also no oncoming cars because that lane starts there.

I can understand if they slowed down to check for pedestrians but I don't think they should be stopping there for the entire time. Sometimes up to 10 cars are behind them because they stop there.

Am I wrong for getting impatient with these drivers?

it is def illegal if they stop there on a green..i remember my brother failed his driving test when he came to a full stop at a green to turn right, even tho he turned after stopping...if its green, you can yield but not full stop unless you have a reason for doing so.

One of my PCD broke yesterday. Completley broke off at the weld. Luckily RV6 is going to overnight me a replacement.

Anyone have ideas on how to relocate the rear bumper mounting tab (one that connects to qtr panel)

Had to raise it a lil bit and dialed some camber in but its still rubbing the tab.. and pushes my rear bumper out whenever i hit big dips

as it sits now

^ I didnt have to relocate my bumper tabs because the tire was actually rubbing against the metal. Maybe that could also be the factor? But at first I trimmed around the tab (where the bolt goes into), so it doesnt stick out so much either.

That all seemed to help, mine rubbed when i accelerated.

___________

See if trimming around the bolt helps? If you know forsure it is the tab thats rubbing your gonna have to relocate it.

What most people do is cut the tab off and make another hole farther back, where the bolt/pin would go into.

Made a custom cold air intake for my blower tonight. Not sure what it does performance wise but the whine is much louder (crappy cell phone pic).

Tried to adjust my coilovers but the bottom locking ring won't budge. Is there a tool for this? The ones that came with the kit only fit the top rings where the spring sits.

use pb blaster if it really is stuck, let it soak for a few minutes then use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to break it free.

I tried that same method but with WD40 and failed. I'll try the PB Blaster next time.

if you need to get a little more extreme than pb blaster then spray a shit ton of pb blaster and let it sit for a good 15-30 minutes so it has time to penetrate and add more every 5 minutes or so... then use a heat gun a carefully heat up the ring on all sides, try not to heat up the shock body itself too much otherwise the heat method is useless. you need to direct the heat to the collar only so it expands JUUUUUST a tiny bit and then go at it with the screwdriver and hammer again.

i had to use this exact method when my coilover collar seized 2 days before wekfest last year. and once it's free, get a toothbrush and clean the hell out of all the threads reallllllllly well.

Sounds like a plan. It'll be a little while before I can try it. Back in Vegas for the holidays.

Hey all, my brother and I went to the SF International Auto Show on Tuesday.
We got there at 4PM and there was no one there!! We took a few pics, and I
thought I would share them with you. If you have any questions about any of
the cars, just ask.

You guys had a more vintage cars then our auto show did. And we didn't have any modded cars either. It was a good show though, I spent the whole day at the one here.

One whole day was to much to spend at the Sac Auto show, well of course we didn't do in driving maybe thats why

the subaru scene is going strong still. they have weekly meets that people continue to go to EVERY week.

monday night in dublin is about 10 people
wednesday nights in fremont 30+ people
friday night wingstop off curtner
plus other weekly meets for closer areas

i haven't been to meets in some time. gone to a few dublin ones recently though. normally in the summer i host a lot of cool BBQ's at either treasure island or coyote point

it's kinda cool that a lot of these guys continue to go to the meets every week

hey guys..so got some relatively bad news today from the technician..my shocks are in need of replacement and so he's suggesting new shocks or new coilovers. I drive a 97 2.2CL and I've been riding on k-sport coilovers (originally on Klepto's CL) and i guess it's about time that they give out given I put some good mileage on them.

Anybody with knowledge of the 1st gen CL's know of any good shock replacements or coilover setups? not trying to spend too much as the car is old and getting up there in mileage, but i'd still like to rock a lowered ride since i take good care of her and she'll last me a couple more years hopefully. I've been looking into Tein's, just not sure which setup to go with since they have different ones. I could always go back to k-sports/d2's. And i've heard bad things about form n function.

any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!
