Ok so I'm upgrading my exhaust here in 2 weeks. But I'm thinking of selling the stock Type-S quad exhaust. How much do you think it would go for? I've seen old posts with them going for $300? Is that too much?

So are there any meets planned for June around the Bay Area?

To all those folks asking when the next meet is/when's the next get together/next event/etc etc etc...There's a festival and car show in Sactown this Sunday (6/3/12). Admission is free, some local crews are going to be present, giveaways are provided by the sponsors (includes a free sponsorship for SEMA), and of course...models! LOL Though the registration has been limited or has been closed, here's a link:

Ok, for all those asking when's the next meet/gathering/get together etc etc etc etc...there's the BLOX PRE-MEET on Friday night at Pacific Commons In-N-out Burger joint. You can check out the facebook thread, or even go to the actual show on Saturday at The BLOX Open House Event!

for those of you guys who are slammed and have kids, i have a question. Do you guys take your kids around in your rides? im a first time parent and I'm getting nervous with the stiff ride causing my daughter to shake in her car seat... it helps her burp every now and then, but Im wondering if Im doing any damage to her...lol

Let someone else drive and sit in the back seat of your car. Most of the time, the rear rides worse than the front. So if you think it's pretty bad up front as is, then it's gonna be worse for a little baby in back. I use to take my son on short trips in the box but had to swap out rear bags for something smoother. With that being said, we had a "family" car as well. Most of the time, we just use that. I doubt you will hurt the baby in any way. Most of the car seats are pretty legit today.

well i'll wait and see how your air suspension is first before I go deciding to do that. I've been on air before on my s-10 extreme and it was just too much money... if I do decide to go air it'll be on the G.
as far as my shock towers go I decided not to do it. After talking with my body shop, the collision expert said that the shock towers are designed as crumple zones during crashes and modifying that will affect how the car crumples in an accident and also the timing in the airbags.... soooooo yea I decided to live with the slap lol

Just got quoted $900 for a timing belt and water pump replacement in San Jose. I know this is a good deal but anyone know of somewhere doing it cheaper...just curious.

That's the same price my bro got quoted at the dealer, it was a bit high for me, so I changed it for him..

Parts: T-belt, WP, Tensioner, Drive-belt, idlers (2), T-stat & coolant (type 2).. total spend bit over $300 on parts.

DIY, save u lots, good luck with pulley bolt tho..

Don't forget valve adjustment, spark plugs, spark plug tubes, cam seals, intake manifold gaskets, and upper/lower radiator hoses.

I just bought all the genuine parts myself from an online dealer and gave them to a local independent shop specializing in Hondas/Acuras. I think it cost me about 350 in parts and 500 in labor? Something like that.
I wanted to do everything so I wouldn't have to worry about anything on the engine again till 210k
