hey guys..so got some relatively bad news today from the technician..my shocks are in need of replacement and so he's suggesting new shocks or new coilovers. I drive a 97 2.2CL and I've been riding on k-sport coilovers (originally on Klepto's CL) and i guess it's about time that they give out given I put some good mileage on them.
Anybody with knowledge of the 1st gen CL's know of any good shock replacements or coilover setups? not trying to spend too much as the car is old and getting up there in mileage, but i'd still like to rock a lowered ride since i take good care of her and she'll last me a couple more years hopefully. I've been looking into Tein's, just not sure which setup to go with since they have different ones. I could always go back to k-sports/d2's. And i've heard bad things about form n function.
any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

Anyways since your in hayward, you should check out prostreetonline.com I get all my stuff from that site super low prices on everything. call them up and ask for john and tell him phil sent ya. or let me know ahead of time and i'll talk to him ahead of time for you

whoops i probably should've clarified, rebuild as in have them send you new struts and you'll have to disassemble and reassemble them. im not quite sure if it matters that your not the original owner, but I could be wrong.

yea i remember working with prostreetonline.com before. when i got my first suspension up i went and picked it up. they were the ones behind the dealerships off of Mission in Hayward right? are they still there?

I couldn't find a price lower then what they had, so that's why I went with them. Being an authorized TEIN dealer was a plus too, I heard there are counterfeit S-techs being sold on ebay.
