i still dont get what happened to the old thread and why everyones post count went down :confusion:

Ok, there were far too many threads that had gotten far too large (500 - 600 pages; 15000+ posts).

And in SOME of those there were far too many post whores; adding absoluetly nothing but drivel to drive post count.

So, all the long, old threads were closed and deleted. When a thread is deleted, the posts go with it and the post count goes down.

It's not the first time long threads were closed and new threads started to take their place. As someone here pointed out this is version 3 of the Bay Area Chat thread.

What's different is the (lame) 10 pages of whining about lost posts in the Regions sub-forums today.

 

sac chat thread is still there and that shit goes all the way back to 2003 or something half those dudes arent even on the forum anymore mite as well change all the chat threads then...

 

i got an idea! from now on start the next versions with the last 10 or so pages of the version before it heh

 

sounds like what should've been done in the first place...but *shrug* not my place to say...I'm not a mod or anything advanced such as that...
