So I'm debating picking up a new set of wheels

Just debating whether or not they will fit right when I decide to drop my car, and whether or not the ride quality will totally eat shit after putting them on..

They are 19's wrapped in 235/35/19 - I'm just worried that running a 35 instead of a 40 would ruin my ride quality, and potentially ruin the wheels.. Anyone running 19's here, or who have ran 19's in the past wanna chip in your opinion??

I have only had my 19s for a week now but love them. I have the RonJon Inspyres with 245/35/19s on ToyoProxes4 I actually think that these rims/tires ride better than my stock rims with the BFG KDWS. I am of course now scared as heck of scratch up the rims though LOL I need to get the rear camber kit now but otherwise the rims filled up my wheel wells real nice. I am sure WannaBeG is going to take some great pics of his detail extravaganza.

Here she is all up in Bloomington Acuras bay with her new shoes on. My Service Advisor John R said that he normally doesn't like aftermarket rims on the TL but the RJ Inspyres were pretty sweet and a great fit. https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=51372

Yeah, these are wrapped in 235/35/19 BFG KDW's. I'm just worried that only running a 35 sidewall is going to make the ride super rough and hard on the rims..

The 35 side wall is the right size to keep your speedo correct, and i don't think you would notice a difference in a 35 to 40. The ride will be a bit stiffer due to a 19 though. If you do get them, i may know somebody interested in the weapons.

Well I would definitely be looking at selling them

Just trying to get some things figured out before I make a decision.. I don't believe the 19's will be TOO bad on the ride quality, just a little worried in our roads. I'd have to be a little careful with them

What do ya think Joe? Yay? Nay?

Dude I had 19" tires and the a-Spec suspension loved the ride. When I can afford it 19" will come back. I'll be dead by then but I will have them for a little time.

If its the set i think your talking about, I would say yay. The color will work well with blacked out look your going for. The only downfall would be you need a drop. The wheel gap will be huge IMO. 19's are about as big as i would go though, i have seen a few on 20's and bigger and it's just to much wheel.

My engine maintenance reminder goes off at 15% or 20% I believe. You should have a service reminder that goes off around that percentage. I haven't used full synthetic, I usually go with whatever the stealership puts in it

Well if you want to get technical, you don't HAVE to change it at all..

But I typically schedule an oil change around 15% just to be safe. Never ran it past that percentage. Some people go past 0%, but it's all about preference.

This is what I run in my TL. Redline 5w30 with a Royal Purple oil filter. The only downfall to that is its expensive, around $10/quart and you may have to order it online. You may have better luck cause you're from the CITY and i'm in the sticks. Otherwise I run Mobil 1 extended performance with Mobil 1 oil filter. I've read a lot of IHC's posts and he recommends the Redline oil.
I usually don't even look at the MID, I mark down and change every 5k miles. I think I did follow it once, but by the time it fot done to 5-10% I was at 10k miles from the last oil change.

I am thinking of getting the M1 instead of redline since M1 is a lil bit cheaper.

I think the smoked out ones on HeelToes website would be HOT.. I am not too big on gold on cars. Unless its a white pearl lexus or Caddy

I'll post up the pic later. Plasti dipping is an inexpensive mOde. I might get the ht specs I coilover in the summer too.

I wanna see pics of the rear license plate trim. I've been debating doing that myself, just wasn't sure how it'd look. I planned on picking up a new all mesh grill, possibly put a floating "A" in there, not sure yet...

I was thinking of doing the whole tray, but I will see how just the trim turn out.

Mesh grill is an good idea too but requires a lot of work tho. Maybe putting the TL badge in red color on the mesh? Lol just a thought.
