I can try and help you as I am somewhat machanically inclined. Do you mean next weekend the 20th or this weekend the 13th? Let me know and I'd be happy to help as much as I can.

Its awesome that Rich warranties his work but I can see how shipping both ways can be a pain in the neck.

Any more info or pics about your friend's Accord? It would be awesome to see some of Rich's work locallly.

Had an Accident this last Saturday...

Just had an accident and was wondering if you all can help me with fixing. My insurance just got cancelled thanks to my sister.
Anyways, I wish I could post pics. If there is a way to email it to you let me know. I gave a sliver 99 tl. The hit was front right corner. Fender, door and the wheel is bent at about 45 degrees. Any help will be much appreciated. Let me know your email & I could send you pics. I still cant post due to lack of posting regulations.
Thanks you all

Here's a few pics. The first two are the problem areas with the alignments:

This is off topic...

I have a 2005 4Runner and some of the dashboard, orange backlights (for the gauges, etc.) are starting to burn out. Is there anyone on here who would know how to yank the faceplates and replace these bulbs? I'm contemplating pulling all the orange lights and replacing them with white (HID?) bulbs. PM me with any info you may have. Thanks for your time.

Try looking through this link. I looked through the first 11 pages but didn't find anything.

I dont think you can mount HIDs in that type of application. LEDs would be be better suited for what you are looking for.

Hey thanks for posting pics. I like how the projectors look in the housing. But I can see how the alignment is off but the projection cutoff looks nice.

Overall looks like your friend has a great start. Not sure if he's a member here but you should definitly refer him to "v 6 p . net" if he hasn't already. I'm sure he can find inspiration from other 7th gen accords but also tons of parts go through their classifieds.

Hey, Carmodifier, you have got to read this article if you have not seen it already.

http://www.expeditionportal.com/foru...ad.php?t=50799

These people took their landcruiser across Congo on a route that no one does. It is technically considered a route, but you'll see if you read the whole thing that sometimes the route ends up being a bike path that is mostly overgrown.

It's an incredibly long story, but it is a great one that you should check out.

Just splurged and bought myself a new set of speakers for my home theater. Picked up a set of Polk Monitor 70's for the fronts, 40's for the rears and a CS2 center.

Anyone interested in buying any of my old stuff? Preferrably like to get rid of it all at the same time, but I've got a buddy that's interested in pieces, and if I can find the right buyers, I'd split as long as it all gets sold.

Fronts: Yamaha NS-A100XT <--Link

Rears: Yamaha NS-5290 <--Link

Center: JBL N-Center II <--Link

First $200 takes it all. Otherwise I'd be willing to do $150 fronts, 50 rears, and 50 center

Carmodifier?? Thanks for forgetting my name, Josh

I haven't seen that article before; thanks for recommending it to me! They sure do have a trusty steed. No wonder no one else goes across that route; I can't believe they made it through that I wonder how my Jeep would hold-up out there...

But anyway, the article made me want to go buy a landcruiser and drive it to Africa.

Then again, Long Way Round and Long Way Down made me want to get on a bike and ride around the world.

Haha, I agree. Their Landcruiser definitely took a beating!

A television series made me want to acquire a bike also, but for me the show of choice was the Sons of Anarchy

Hows everyone doing? Hows the snow?

Didn't get anything in Fargo from it. Been having fun with RWD and snow tires though It is amazing what a set of tires will do.

No snow for you?? Lucky! I couldn't use my 2 Free Parking Passes, 4 VIP Tent Passes, and 4 tickets only 7 rows up from the field to watch the Vikings beat the Giants because of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAyLX2hY7E0

Hope you southern boys are sniping your abundant amount of snow. We didn't get an here in Cloquet/Duluth. Kind of sad about that, would've been fun to finally snow shoes this year.

Happy Holidays everyone. Anybody getting themselves anything for X-mas?

I just picked up a set of Polk Monitor 70's, 2 sets of M40's and a CS2 center.

I also got permission from the wifey to pre-order the Oppo-93 Blu-Ray. This thing is a beast if you've never heard of Oppo. Just to give you an example, last model was released at $499, but now they are up to $1499 on Amazon because they are in such short supply (These are the "reference" players for all high-end BRP - talking like $4000 blu-ray players and such)

My Christmas present to myself. Got it so that I'd have something to drive while the TL gets a heart and lung transplant.

EDIT: Also bought a new toolbox, tools and more stuff for the TL.

I just ordered some OEM all weather floor mats. Not quite as nice as your Christmas present to yourself, but I'm excited none the less.

Still on the transplant list, or has it arrived yet? How do you like the BMW?

Eh... Well, the *parts* arrived and I ended up building the engine myself. Though as you know it's not exactly what I wanted to do.

I'll have to PM you with some pics. Hope you and the S.O. are doing well and have a good Christmas season planned. Once the heads are finished up, I'll send you an PM and let you know once I'm ready to yank the old engine and drop in the new beast.

Loving the Bimmer, BTW. It's a 325xiT (all-wheel-drive) so it's a blast to drive around in the winter.

Congrats on the bimmer! I love my wagon, it is an amazing road trip vehicle!

With the xi system, you need to turn off the traction control in the snow or it's a pain in the ass to drive. Much more fun if you allow it to slide around a bit!

I put the winters on the 535xiT and it's a freaking beast in the snow, there's no stopping it! I had a really good time last saturday in the snow.

Thanks Glow! Happy Holidays to you and everyone else!

I bought myself some Christmas presents. Grant it it's not a new car (cough bmeyer cough) but it gets the job done. I bought a lift kit, new wheels, and new tires for my KJ. I am hoping some of you will help me install the lift It shouldn't be too difficult since I only bought a 2.5" coil spring spacer kit...

Must be the season for home theater. I had my company holiday party last night, and I was able to walk away with a Logitech Harmony 900 remote.

There were some great prizes that went quick (TV's, laptops and XBox/Kinect combos) - but when it started to get to the nitty gritty, people were choosing $88 Insignia blu-ray players and Flips over the $400 remote.

Oh yeah. The DSC is definitely a fun-killer when trying to step the back-end out a little. Even though it's not the most powerful car in the world, it's just such a blast to drive.

I got it partly to take on road-trips as well. The wifey and I started tenting last year and the A4 just didn't have enough room to pack everything in.

I'm 2200 miles into a 2600 mile trip right now, and I still love my wagon. I don't particularly want to go for a spin right now, but I still love it. The 3 month old is kind of sick of it too.

The other cool thing is that the M bumpers are a direct fit, so if you decide to go for a more aggressive look, you can just bolt them on.
