Im not sure brotha... I dont want to give you a price guess and have it be WAY more or something. It will all depend on the condition of your current vehicle and how much work has to be done. It will more than likely cost the same as anywhere else but I can guarantee that the work will be done right!

Why are you selling. You were so exited before you got them. Are you getting rid of your ride? If I didn't already have the RSB I would buy it. GLW the sale.

Yes having a job that is busy during the holidays sucks. Bit the tyres are dunlop sp signature sport. No numbers in the model of them.

Any of the MT guys looking for Synchromesh MT fluid ? I got some extras that I will sell for 10$ a bottle and I can also help you change it too.
Also selling a stock 6MT RSB for 40$ which is 2mm thicker than stock 5AT, I can also help you change that too.

I think I found myself a solution. Maybe I should air ride my TL to make it more convenient as I would want it to be. Just a thought, here's a video:

Better alternative is these Variable Ride Height suspension that's made to work with your coilovers.

I've been tossing around the idea of installing an AccuAir system in my car... My cousin owns a VW/Audi shop and has put it in quite a few cars and offered to put it in for free for me if I wanted. Not sure if I should go that route though

At least you got a pretty good hook up there . But yeah, same here but I'm leaning more towards a suv in a few yrs.

I'm still going through those phases lol. Now I'm getting tired of driving around lowered and worrying about the lip kit and wheels. Also I've learned that although it may be convenient for me, to my passengers especially my mom. It sucks that they have to go through the hassles of being in my car when I drove them places.

Don't go air ride unless the car is all show. And they dont handle that well and the ride is only ok.

But the VRH kit is badass. Handling properties of coilovers yet you can raise up over speed bumps and driveways. Check out their site... http://www.umbrellaautodesign.com/co...vrh_suspension

Yeah it's not too bad. I like the fact that I can always adjust my ride with the push of a button, but don't like the fact that if anything goes wrong with it, there are few shops who know what they're doing with air ride.

As for the overall ride, I'm not terribly worried about that. From what I've noticed in my cousins truck, it didn't completely wreck the ride quality. A little more rough, but not too bad.

With the VRH, I'd be worried about the salt on the roads ripping away at it. At least with the air, salt shouldn't affect the bags

This is a cup kit, replaces the top coilover spring perch. The differences between a cup kit and air bags are that with a cup kit, your lowest height is your ride height, you only raise the car when you need to, but you still have all the benefits of coilovers (stiffness, ride quality, etc.). Many people prefer coilovers over air bags for the stiffness, especially with very aggressive wheel setups, and cup kits offer the adjustability sometimes needed. As an added benefit, if a cup kit fails, your car is still drivable since it's on coilovers, but if an air bag fails, you'll more than likely need a tow home.

Oh nice. How does price compare to air? Somewhat comparable or total different ball park?

They're comparable I would say. But if you don't already have coilovers, it'll cost right about the same give or take.

I like the fact everyone is working on one thing or another for their ride. I hope some of these get taken care of before the KC meet next year. Who is planning on going this year?

Hey Takata 18, seeing that you went from a base to Type S TL in the past. I just wanted to ask you if the differences were worth it? I'm just thinking future wise, rather than to spend $$$ painting my car white. I think it'll be better if I just upgrade to a white TL S whenever I pay mines off. Plus I can transfer all my aftermarket parts over.

Well first of all my other TL was paid for. That was great and my other car was just how I wanted it. The differences were only three things, navi, 6mt and 3.5 engine. The one that was worth it to me was the 6MT. My other car had immaculate paint compare to my new one. I also have put also have put alot of my performance parts from my other car on this one. I am getting to enjoy this one as well. I would not change the color on your car it is the easiest color to keep clean. I would buy a white car if it's what you want.

It'd be nice to get a group to go. Hopefully I can get my car in a position where I'd want to show it off a little by then ha.

I have my Eibach Pro-Kit to install this spring, but want an A-Spec front lip as well as new grill. I decided I'm probably not going to be doing really any performance upgrades to my car.. Just not worth it to me

Thanks for the quick response. When I pay mines off sometime in October of 2013. I'm assuming that It'll have right around 104k miles on it. So I'm hoping that by that time I can find a Type S with lower mileage so I can sell mines. Get a loan, a good down payment on it as well as transfer my aftermarkets over.

There were cars that were bare bone stock. So do what you can people do not judge it is also for the fun. just like the meets here. We get rooms and split the cost. That works slick.

Ha! Aren't we all in the poor house?!? If someone here isn't....I could take a donation or two, or three!

I'm sure that Nyle will come down with me. However, he did sell his TL a little while back.
