Well you all can thank me for the nice weather lately because last week I purchased a set of snow tires for the Beast on eBay. I must say that the tires make the car much more civilized in day to day driving but try driving with any type of enthusiasm and they just start screaming and losing traction which the OEM's don't do.

So I'm getting an iSimple for my TL today.. I picked it up from a buddy who bought it, but has Navi in his car and can't install it without some extra cables that Best Buy doesn't carry.. My question is, will I need to buy some extra cables for my non-navi to get this installed? Or does it include everything I need to install it?

I helped my brother put one in his 04 non-navi. It came with all the cables needed for his install.

Lifted up the car cover on the TL last night, and started her up. She was purring like a champ. Just wish I could have let her loose for awhile!

Is it Spring yet!!?!?

any time you lower a car you will need to add a camber kit (front &back) this is due to the fact that your tires will have a negative camber when you lower it. As far as what brand to get that's up to the individual. Sometimes you are paying for the name. I got a rear one for mine bought it used will be installing it this summer.

I used a Neuspeed Supercup kit which is Neuspeed springs, and Koni shocks. I have the Ingall for the rear, and Skunk2 kit for the front camber. Both have worked well, and I've been happy.

+1.

More importantly, whenever you lower a car you may get negative toe. Which is when the front of the tires goes inward like:
Which will eat up your tires faster than negative camber will. IDK if a 1.5 inch drop would create negative toe, but when I was lowered 3 inches all round. I had crazy negative toe.

thanks for the input. Iam sure that im not going for more than 1.5" drop because its a DD, so im thinking of going for Eibach Pro kit on a stock struct since it has 99k miles on my TL.

No problem . If you get the rear camber kit(s) you should be all set. I would just have which ever shop you're getting the alignment done at, zero out the toe if there is any and you should be good to go.

My other suggestion is to replace the shocks whenever and if you can. Because you stated that you currently have 99K miles on it. The higher spring rates from the lowering springs can easily break a stock shock with that much mileage. That or the the stock shock won't be able to keep up with the higher spring rates from the lowering springs and you'll hear lots of spring blinding when the car is under-load like when your making turns and what not.

ATLP Base exhaust $700
RV6 V3 Jpipe $275
Custom Taillights $150
Audi LED DRL bars $150
Custom Foglights $150 plus your 07-08 OEM stock lights

I have two projectors as well.
One is a hybrid projector, best of the best
07-08 bowls
04-06 step shields

$100 for this projector

The other one is
04-06 bowl
07-08 step shield

$75 for this one

Let me know if you guys want anything, otherwise things are going to go up on the BM at the end of the month
Hello Nate, Curious if you still had the taillights? Any issues with them leaking? I read these are a simple plug n play type swap. 150 the lowest? Is that shipping or a meet up?

I do have slight leaking, but bothing a bead of silicone wont fix. $150 is the lowest I would take for these. They are a simple swap of the LED boards and that's about all.

Looks like you need some detailing on the bumper from the exhaust. Also, Is that moisture in your drivers side headlight?

Congrats on your 1st Acura and it's a very nice one too . Welcome to Acurazine and the Minnesota section of the forum . I'm David and it's nice to meet you Shailene. Looks like you're already off to a good start with the front A-spec lip already on the car.

I on the other hand just bought the 19's I've been wanting... Now I'm just waiting until Spring comes along and they'll go on and I'll lower the car again.

The pic you're looking at that looks like there's exhaust on the bumper is cuz the car was running and that's the smoke you see...

I'm putting premium fuel in it! It's not oil burnage...it's just the exhaust in the pic, the car was running when I took it.

Hi Shailene can I interest you in a ride in my BMW? It has a 500HP V-10. J/K I used to own a 2007 CBP TL Type-S but still hang out here because the M5 owners are a little to snooty for me.:gheyhug:

Hey Jorge did you go see Star Wars this weekend? I took my cousin and was a little let down I was hoping the pod race and action scenes would be eye popping in 3D but they weren't. The boring standing around scenes were noticable in 3D.

Janik are you a junior or senior at college now?

Well I was putting toghther my vacation this year and thought about going to see the F1 races at Spa and Monza with side trips to the Nurburgring, the Stelvio Pass, Monaco, Le Mans and Normandy. But when I added it all up it was going to cost between 8-9K dollars which is too much. So instead I am going to the F1 race in Austin, TX Nov 16-18th I have my hotel booked and am on the list for seats at the track. So hopfully it will be fun and the weather will not be bad as I am going to drive down then stop at a relatives home for Thanksgiving on the way home.

Forgot to add we should do a B-dubs meet sometime if the weather stays somewhat nice for those who have their car put away for winter.

Congrats on your purchase! I love the color, and I'm sure you'll love the Type-S!

I on the other hand just bought the 19's I've been wanting... Now I'm just waiting until Spring comes along and they'll go on and I'll lower the car again.
What'd you pick up this time? Or are you gonna make us wait until the next meet?

Forgot to add we should do a B-dubs meet sometime if the weather stays somewhat nice for those who have their car put away for winter.
Easy on the lady! She's new here, give her some space

As for BDubs, I'd be down. Maybe Jorge would even take his Type-S out of the garage to meet up
