I thought I posted these yesterday, but apparently was more goofed up from the Flexeril than I thought. The whole front end is about 3" towards the passenger side from where it should be. Initial estimate was for $10K, and they haven't even started taking it apart yet.

You can see a nice imprint of her wheel on my bumper. In the picture with the hood open you can see that everything is pushed into the engine, including the radiator, A/C compressor, battery. I took those pictures before the guys from the body shop realized that the battery had exploded and poured baking soda all over it.

E and I are fine, just a bunch sore. E is feeling ok, but my neck and back are driving me crazy.

Today I went to MOWOG 1 and co-drove an 08 STi, finished (I think) 4th in a class of about 50. Going back tomorrow, but the guy whose car I was driving stopped on his way home and bought an S2K CR, so I don't know what I'll be driving tomorrow.

Sounds like everyone is A-OK though. Now the million dollar question is: Since you have driven the Scoob for a couple of months - Is this the car you will be returning to (if it's totalled), or would you try your luck at something else? Probably not totalled.... but somebody's not giving us much info.
There is a facebook app for the iPhone and getting to this site is a total PITA without a direct link.

If they had totalled the STi, I told E that I was going to buy a Cayman S.

Dude, Josh, that is painful to see!

Good job with running 4th at M1! I assume hes also running AST? If he runs his CR in AS on race rubber, I might have to figure out how to afford a set this year and give him a run for his money haha.

PS, a cayman S would be sick!

Oh and it looks like in those picks the airbags didnt go off? That probably saved both you and E a world of hurt. Glad you were feeling good enough to get out to the autocrosses this weekend.

Not yet, but we are hoping! Cayman S here I come!!

This weekend I had to run in SI because Scott's STi has a computer map, but it was a pretty deep field at M1 in SI. His girl is running the CR and Scott is running his STi as of the time I left the track today, but neither had turned a wheel for the day, so I have no idea how they went.

It was his first event and he finished in 31st place, about 8 seconds from where I finished.

Maybe you can all pool in for me to and get me a white/stone 2005 G35 sedan 6 spd with nav, and premium pack C, who knows, maybe one will appear on craigslist, *hint**hint*

And Jorge, it was at rockfalls raceway in Eau Claire.

Shit ton of fun. I figured out a way to shave a half second off my car too

Hey Josh, sorry to hear about your accident! Hope you are doing well. Been there, done that. I always like to look at the positive side of things. Take my accident for example. After spending countless hours installing many modifications to my car, I went out and totaled it (four car pile up)! I only had liability so I lost everything! I didn't even get one full week to enjoy all my hard work and modifications. BUT, this unfortunate event is what made me obtain my CL. Thus, I hope that Cayman S falls through for ya buddy!

Yeah, I know they can fix the car, and we were lucky to come out unscathed, but it sucks because I am missing events!! I have been waiting all winter for the season to start, and now I'm out a car!

But, the silver lining is that I will be getting all of the rock chips fixed and then getting the clear bra applied, so that the car will be perfect when all is said and done. I was not extremely happy with the way the paint looked before, and now I get a chance to have that fixed, I just hope that Hagen's is as good as I have been lead to believe.

I think that E is going to have to drive the Altima this weekend, which sucks because it is NOT a good car for autox.

https://careers.target.com/1033/ASP/...02_5251&GQId=0

any chance you can put in a good word for me about planning amazing acura meets?

also how flexible are the hours? i'm more than willing to throw down 24 hours on the weekend and make up 16 during the weekdays if that's what it takes. i have econ from 9 to 12 and business stats from 4:30 to 7:30 everyday during the summer
