lol why not...let's say may 24th? after my finals and hopefully repainted car. a couple of us are in college and finals are hitting us hard.

but of course i think several guys head down to UniDale and i think you guys should exchange numbers and meet up. and of course have smaller mini meets in parking lots if you guys want, but in the shape that i am and my car is in, i wont be making it out much. except for big ones.

also, that's Jetfire in my avatar, not a gundam

This weekend is the first and second autocross of the season, you can all come out to Valley Fair and check it out.

If we get fun runs in at the end of the day, I can take passengers for a ride for $1 each.

Hey Josh it really is a small world after all. I was getting a new bed delivered to my house yesterday and one of the delivery guys notices my TL and starts talking to me about it. Turns out he has a TL that the previous owner did some mods to. I ask him if it is blue and he said yes then I asked if the person he bought it from was named Josh and he said yes. I was like hey I know him he has a red STI now. He was pretty shocked that I knew who you were and was like 'Does everybody know this Josh guy.' So it was kind of funny and I told him to check out this site sometime so we may see him here someday.

That is pretty funny. Tony is an interesting guy, that's for sure. I told him about this site when he bought the car, but I don't know that he has ever been on here. I saw him a few months ago right after I got back from Hawaii and he checked out the STi, some jackass had backed into him in the TL, so the grill was all bashed in.

Well if it's only the grill hopefully it will be an easy fix. Anyway, how has everyone been? Sorry about your car Ken...there are plenty of bitches in this world and most are NOT women.

I doubt you have been in anything with this kind of driving.

Besides, the $1 doesn't go to me, it goes to the sanctioning body. If I were charging for me, it would be more like $10 to cover wear and tear on the car and tires.

it has torque but after the launch it feels like its not going anywhere. if it come's to power i'll stick to the integra's.

Something tells me that your 'crazy stuff with it' is not really similar to an autocross run. In order to corner at the forces we are talking about for autocross (~.9-1G), you would have to be doing some SEVERELY illegal driving, and most likely putting anyone in or around your car at a pretty great risk. If that's how you drive, let me know when you leave the house so that I can get off the streets.

Your last sentence makes me question your sanity entirely. Especially since the baddest Integra coming from Honda didn't have anything over 220HP and prolly 140tqe and the STi comes from the factory with 305HP and 295tqe.

As for feeling like they aren't going anywhere, the S2K feels the same way, you don't feel like you are accelerating, but you are really getting up there quickly if you look at the speedo.

Either way, if you aren't into paying $1 for a fun run, then keep your $1 and stay at home. I personally don't care since it is added wear and tear on my car and I get nothing out of it.

So do they just start flashing and stop you outta nowhere or what? I've never gotten tint ticket but I'd like to know how to look out for it. I usually roll down my windows if there's a cop next to me.

funny thing is i hear most optometrists are pretty easy about that. they really dont care as long as you paid the fee to have your eyes checked out. especially if you find a pretty young one. that's just what i hear anyway

And TS: I was pulling out of my bank, taking a left, and the cop was sitting behind the rainbow foods 'monitoring traffic'.

I didnt see him until i was about to pass him. He pulled out behind me up to the light, then after we began to turn left he flipped his lights on and WHOOP WHOOP

LOL, it amuses me when people think power is all that matters in how 'sweet' a car is, especially when referring autocross.

I've seen friends with big powerful awesome cars ()(say, a GTO with an LS2), who think its all the rage, piss their pants when they too went for a ride along with a buddy's nationally competitive 89 civic (yielding a whoppin 110 hp).

Generally, when trying to make a passenger scream in fear in an autocross run, power is just one of many factors, and generally pretty low on the list in importance.

Feeling .7G forward (like a corvette launch) is pretty tame when compared to 1.4G to the left or right (like a certain silver s2000 cornering)

35%, registered at 34%.

Tickets depress me.

I think its sad that when you see the people that are supposed to 'protect and serve' you, you get scared and hope you arent doing anything wrong.

Seems like our society has shifted a bit..
