Yes Josh but My CAI is totally different than Brians I have the Short ram and Brian's is the long one. This could be a true comparison if we had identical CAI. You Know apples to apples. You and Dan have almost the same numbers, and almost the same mods. I might be looking to get a different CAI but I am ok withw the numbers.

Jorge Max torque=188.53 Max power=212.59

To measure gains you HAVE to dyno the same car on the same dyno.
Not that freakish actually, it happened fairly often with the LS1's. Some guys got unlucky and their motors sucked and a lot got the good motors.. I've dyno'd average Vettes that make less then a good Camaro motor.

In any case, most Honda/Acura motors are very close in regards to power. The motors are not hand built(excluding the NSX), and the tolerances are very good. But age/wear like others have said will be the difference in your guy's case. Anything from the kind of oil you are running, to the kind of tranny fluid, to the state of your tranny, to the state of your motor, your tire selection(or tire pressure), etc.. they all play into a small difference in HP. Also like others have said, to know your gains, you can only compare to your own before and after dyno runs.

So I talked to the guy about the S/C, and I think it's goona have to die a wet dream. He said that it's being held (but sounds like the guy may not be able to come up with the money) - he has had many offers, and some were over the $3200 he is asking. Since I only offered him $2900 - I can't expect that he is going to be interested.

Oh well - probably for the best anyways. Now that the beer bong has worn off, it doesn't sound like one of my better purchase choices anyhow.

I want to know if that supercharged Ion redline motor would fit in my trunk - then I could go AWD (although it would take a little while for the back to catch up...lol)

Yeah, I also would have liked for Luke to have seen that rusty rustang that put up 630HP before the tires started spinning on the dyno, that was WAAAAAY impressive.

I still want to know how that dude drove the car though, he only had one hand.

His other hand probably fell off trying to shift so god damn fast.

I know - that was probably uncalled for. I'm sorry guy (Hey - was that Rick Allen?)

It is a 4 cylinder turbo. Same engine as the TSX but TURBO SIZE. No it would take alot of modifications to make it fit. Buy a TSX and order the TURBO KIT for RDX.

it looks small enough to put on the back of the motor where there is enough room to put Razzi between the engine and firewall.

So... like there wouldn't be any lag while the turbo is spooling up because it would be razzi powered?

Good idea anyhow.

Well - I'm off to the office (not Wells, but my actual office at Nexus) - looks like I'll be down there for a few days as they don't have anyone at the office that is good with laptops.

I get to go down there and play a little catch-up, and hopefully I can get back to Wells soon. It's kind of nice to work down here.

Yes, but they are supposed to have different HP levels from the factory. The Corvette is rated anywhere from 345 to 350hp and the Z28 SS was rated at 320HP(not sure on the base Z28, but 290-300 rings a bell?). And this is why I noted some Camaro's have dynoed(at my shop) more then some Corvettes(also at my shop)..

Same power. GM rated the f body at 305 and the SS, WS6 at 320. Then upped them a couple horse in the following years. You are right, they are 'supposed" to have different horse power numbers but they don't. GM rated the Fbodys lower than the Vette for marking purposes. GM couldn't have the Fbodies making the same "advertised" horsepower as the "King of the Hill" vette.

actually, i think the quad tip setup from XLR8 is still in development. as far as i know the rear bumper will not be modified.

I personally like the style from ATLP better.

Cool

Hey..... I heard yesterday that for 09 there will be 3 new models of TL'S!! WOW, A basic = front drive standard motor. 2nd = AWD little bigger motor. Then the S-type!! 3.7L worth of 310-320HP! With the improved S-type package. Also SHAWD! Yes. Just thought you might want to know. I talked to a guy that saw the type S TL. He said it was very impressive. I believe his words were "drop dead gorgeous!"
