hey i think gambit is workin sunday, might need to drop by and taunt him seeing as george's place is about 4 mins away

blackura, you gonna do the bondo yourself or were you talkin about me bringing the stuff and giving it a shot? if you're gonna do it yourself, be sure to mask off all surrounding areas with a plastic garbage bag and some painter's tape if you're not taking off the bumper. when you're done with that, mask it off again, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
if you plan on doing it when we meet up, i think i'll redo mine, it's so halfassedly done

see, that whole 1/2 bills thing might be a problem if you were to be Dan's roomie. Maybe you could work it off by cleaning out the cat box or something...

How good are you at detailing cars? lol. Dan could have the cleanest CL on the block if Ken were to clean it every weekend.

I'm talking about an '04 S/C in the black market for $3200 shipped. Sounds like it is brand new (less than 50 miles I think it said). Pics all show that it is clean and clear. Comes with 2 filters, and 2 ECU's (one is reflashed)

Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn

I could always just throw it on a card and put it on in secret. By the time the wife found out, it would be too late. I could always tell her I just got a new air filter..lol

Anyone know how much / how hard it would be to put on? I'm guessing for something like that I would want a shop or mechanic to do it. That seems like a little more than I want to chew off in my garage.

But Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn.... Checked comptech's website, and its good for 60-65 HP it says. $50/HP sounds like a hell of a deal to me.

Cheapest I could find anywhere else was $4400. Even the GB here on the site (back in '05) was selling them for $3995

I can't though. I'm still 15-20k in debt with credit cards and such from the wedding and prior "I-gotta-have-that's". Someone.... please either talk me into it or tell me that I'm making the right choice and I'll find another one in 2-3 years. I still have full warranty until 2011 (or another 40k miles). Maybe that is my best logical reasoning I can think of.

Do it pussy. Then maybe you can beat a certain GTP.

I call low blow. His GTP really isn't a GTP. It's an austin martin with a different body on it. And when we race, it shoots flames out of the exhaust and emits a terribly foul smell - and leaves dust all over my car - So I slow down and let him pass

I think that would suck for me because they would be at my house washing their cars every weekend. I wouldn't be able to ever get into my own wash stall...

That dude doesn't even live here, pisses me off!

I think you should do it, don't let things like dinner get in your way. If Dan gets off at a decent hour he usually comes over here and eats with E and I anyway. Be prepared though, we don't have a microwave. Everything is either cooked fresh, or reheated on the stove. You might have to increase your hours at the big K though...

It would be just another reason to have meets in Minneapolis instead of St Paul!

Microwaving is not cooking its called Nucing. You think your parents are just being a nag but the reality is they care if they did not the would have stop naging you a long time a go and you would not be who you are now. I have kids and they think of me as you think your parents are with you. I really care about my Kids even though they drive me nuts sometimes you will be there some day

Couple of weeks on his own and Razzi would be cooking. It's hard to learn to cook when mom is making all of your meals.

Big difference between Razzi and your kids is that he's 20 and your oldest is 15(?). I'm sure his parents care and worry, but DAMN. 10PM curfew at 20 years old?

Whatever dude, what better place to air your dirty laundry than among friends? You should give the roomie thing a chance, maybe a week or so trial run. I think you and Dan would seriously dig it.

The biggest question is how Kate would react to it

Seriously, one of the things I never really did was have room-mates in college and I have always kind of wished I did. My first year at ASU I had four different room-mates, and it was awesome, but then I moved back to MO and lived with the 'rents for the rest of my college career. But, I also only spent about 6 months out of school before I started going to night school while working full time at a marketing firm. I essentially went right from HS to career full-time and skipped all the party years of college and sometimes wish I had spent more time being 18, 19, 20, 21, etc than making money.

BUT, that's just me and my sordid tale. You have to do what is right for you, no matter how much shit I give you.

Yeah, and we have a liquor store in the building. We are getting a deli soon, so on weekends I won't even have to put on shoes to go out to eat, and pick up a sixxer for the game!

i'll be taking some classes in the summer, working most of the day. i think i'll make the move then if dan's still cool with it. i was worried about kate too lol.

if you wanna hook me up with full time, i'll go to school at night and move in now

So I think I am gonna permanently remove my backseat and replace the wall with some mdf or similar plus black carpet (also where the lower cushions go. The backseat never gets used anyway, and it would save like 50 pounds or so. Plus I kinda like hearing the exhaust more

What do you guys think?

I think if you mount up an aftermarket exhaust you will hear it a lot more with the seat still in the car...
