I know you can ship a car to Europe for about $2k, and to India for about $3k, so maybe it would be $3k to ship to Australia and you would have to wait a month or so before you got it.

I have had lots of good results with CraigsList and would recommend it to anyone. I sold my wife's Civic, my Ducati and my 900RR through CraigsList after having paid to put them in online and print ads. It takes a bit, but you end up getting what you want.

Geez, anyone know where to buy Torx Security screws??

I can only find the regular Torx ones without the hole in the center. Trying to replace my HID lowbeams.

yeah really dude, that just came out of the blue, you never mentioned Aus ever.

dudes i gotta rant about this, it's driving me nuts. so i signed up for my chem class late in the summer, all the available spots was filled up. they had like 40 open but all reserved for incoming freshmen. the only way was to show up to lab and hope someone drops it.

so i came to the lab an hour early, sat around. as lab time approaches like 60 people came to the door, i talked to them. buncha cool dudes and cute girls. door opens and professor goes "alright anyone whos waiting for a spot wait outside and we'll see if we got any no shows" well, they got 2 spaces. there were 4 people outside that wanted that lab cause it came with good lecture times. so they drew names, and i didnt get picked. so i got this other lab now, and it's with a pretty cool TA, but all around me, like 19 people around me, are like fresh off the boat dudes from asia. swear to god, 20 frickin asians in 20 square feet. half these guys dont know what a beaker is man, and they're gonna be burning magnesium ribbons and shit right next to me. it's a lot easier to pass a class when you look forward to going ya know.

good news is, i met a buncha frat dudes.

k, thanks for reading

Are you installing an HID kit or just replacing the bulbs??

I just replaced mine for the first time a couple hours ago....took a spin with them afterwards....they have more glare compared to stock. 6000k.

So I got my lights ordered today (gee.. more lights). Aspec kit will be ordered before 9/8 - just hoping insurance covers it rather than me floating it on a card.

And I'm pricing out some axis hiros again. There are some Axis gravity's in the BM for $850 shipped, but that's for 18's. I'm guessing I'm going to want 19's when I do decide to pull the trigger. Anyone have any input on that? Also - anyone know much about rim offsets? I can get the hiro's for 25-35 and 45 offset. I'm guessing 45, but not quite sure. Is it specific to the car, or partially to the look you want?

I really wish I could just get 18's because it will be about a hundred/wheel cheaper. But I can't see spending over a grand for wheels to get an inch.

Jorge - you got 19's right? Hows it for ride? You think 19's all the way, or would you go with 18's if you could get a good deal on some? (and didn't have the 19's already)
I like my 19"s they are sweet but tires aren't cheap.

Take your time look at what you got before you take things apart. If it is to much go to the acura owners link I found an area that gives you a breakdown of parts book and you can figure out what to do.

You do know that they are not going to change color right? It's not like the exhaust that has to get broken in.

Hey Ken, E and I just found United Noodle, can we borrow you and your mom next time we go? There was so much stuff there that we had no idea about it was not even close to being funny.

We got some red bean paste thing that was super-yummy and a whole bunch of other stuff...

Hey Jorge - I need a picture of the rear lip on your car. I don't think the aspec will cover the damage - too high

And i started to upload some photos into my gallery, but it just randonly decides that I cannot upload pictures. So I have like 2/3 of the pics I wanted to upload - the rest were denied

I had to work until 10:30 on Friday, and I worked until noon today too.. Hate working late and on weekends. All next week too (except for Monday)

I have a real hard time with that since the tint is determined by the brightness of the bulb and the coating of it as well. If you can find something like that on Silvania's website, then I'll believe it.

United Noodle is a HUGE asian grocery store, it's all Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese food and stuff. They have a kitchen, but it was not open while I was there. It's just south of seven corners at Minnehaha and 24th.

I should probably bring Ken and his mom, my friend from Korea, and my Chinese friend. That way I will be able to determine what everything is since it is all in the native language...

The labled light color on an HID bulb is an average that it will maintain over 2-3000 hours. After passing around 100-500 hours the phenonmen "color shift" will take place. Color will change slightly from a yellowish tone to a crisper bluer tone. The magnitude of color shift will vary depending on brand, model and rated color. It is a very gradual change and unless paid close attention to, a customer might not notice. OEM 4100K Bulbs manufactured by Philips has been reported to have a more noticeable color shift than OEM 4100K Osram. OEM 4100K Bulbs manufactured by Philips has a colorshift of approx 250K after 500 hours, which will bring it to up to 4350K.

Asian manufactured bulbs has been reported to have little or no color shift. Most of them come with output stealing blue filters, which may be part of the cause

Well, I finally got the insurance figured out (no check in hand, but on its way. Not sure how much though).

Aspec kit on it's way. I'm assuming that I may get lucky and have it by next weekend? Hopefully

Otherwise I will just have to settle for putting the new LED lights in my truck to hold me over until I can mod something fun

I'd be down for another meet, but it would have to be a couple weeks down the road when I have a little more free time. Right now, work is getting the best of me, so I really can't commit to much on my days off when I do get them.
