Jorge, there is a new driver school in the spring, you should sign Sabrina up for it so that she can learn how to drive. I talked to a few people and they said that it was not an autocross school, but a class on how to get around in the world with a bunch of dumbass drivers like the one Dan met the other day.

Pics of your CF hood??
And do/would you all want to help me hardwire some footwell L.E.D.s?
I'm thinking about getting them, but I am pretty sure hardwiring that stuff would be out of my experience level.

On another note, the mothers powerball works wonders, my hood has like no swirl marks, and it just looks great, i would really suggest it if your looking for a really good wax.

And i decided to take off the 3.2tl on the trunk, and i plan on using it as the emblem once my new grill comes in.

and also GLowder sorry to hear about your sister, and dan sorry to hear about your car

Thanks Slepy - not my sister though, but i hear ya.

And Razz... you're gonna have to make that mod list 1 shorter. The Aspec was done earlier today

Took me about 4 hours to do in all. Nothing very complicated, just kind of time consuming more than anything.

I'll post some pics soon, but since I have the same car as Jorge - he kind of beat me to the punch. But I do think it looks hawt. I'm not 100% set on the rear bumper having the exhaust center insert like the Grand Prix's do, but I can't say that it looks bad either. But the aggressiveness of the side bodylines, and the sexy new front lip is well worth every penny. If only I had $2300 laying around, I would have gotten the RJ kit. But, I'm not a cali-beach boy so I have to stick to the aspec. Jorge..... do you notcie the aspecs around here much? I never see them around (which is good...lol - keeps us exclusive in our own minds)

ok, well my mom was out of town this weekend, and i've been home alone a bunch, and I amy have ordered like $100 worth of LEDS, and gone through more than half a tank of gas in 2 days. I think i might be getting in some trouble when she gets home.
especially since i've been using her paypal account to pay for everything.

Hey, look at it this way, you didn't have a huge party where there were lots of underage kids drinking that got busted by the cops and the house got trashed. What's a couple hundred bucks against that backdrop?

with that argument i feel like i can go get the rest of the stuff i want to.
like gps, new dash, 3-way speakers, new fog lights (cuz someone decided to shoot a rock clear through the lens and bulb), and more LEDS!
Is this possible? Take the headlights apart, paint them black, and then make a new spot for a medium to small LED, which i will use in place of the current driving light, so this light would be driving light, and then the current driving/blinker would just be a blinker

But i do need scavenge the money around the house to pay her back.

You guys watch football? I always have the game on at my place, and we could watch the game, and figure something out afterwards?

I guess I would like to see something happen in the next couple of weeks too. After that, we're looking at Halloween and 31 inches of snow. Or something like that...

Everytime I look at my car now, I just drool. This will subdue my need for the rims until I can fill up my change jar some more. I started throwing dollars in there too, so it's building pretty quick.

O.J. - Guilty!

lol never thought I'd see the day.

Slepy my hood isn't on yet - but it is in the mail as of today. When the car comes out of the shop I'll take a few pics should be like 2 weeks.

The rental my insurance paid for is quite tossable, and I am enjoying it to the fullest extent :

I think they went with the black Honda to make me feel better. Or it was a total coincidence, either way.

Josh I support the move from Acura to Porsche. I will still talk to you but I don't know about Bryan and Jorge.

Jennifer Bevelry Swanson, 19, told investigators that she had been drinking vodka at a party and did not remember driving north on Hwy. 65 the night she allegedly rear-ended another car stopped at a traffic light at NE. 93rd Lane in Blaine, the complaint said.

A passenger in the car that was hit, identified as Bradley Fragua Lyver, 29, died at the site. The driver of that car, Tamera Lynn McBain, 33, was injured. Two 58-year-old men in a third car also were hurt, according to a Blaine police report.

Swanson, of Oglivie, Minn., was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

According to the complaint, a witness said that she saw Swanson's car traveling 85 to 90 miles per hour as it approached the intersection about 1 a.m. Sunday and that the vehicle's brake lights never came on before the crash.

Officers and paramedics who rendered aid to Swanson noticed a "strong odor of alcohol on her breath and empty wine cooler bottles inside her vehicle," the complaint said.

In an interview, investigators asked Swanson if she had more than five or six drinks. Swanson said she had started drinking at 9 p.m. and "had more than that," the complaint said.

If convicted, Swanson faces up to 10 years in prison, a fine of $6,000 to $20,000 or both.

I'll post pictures. Seriously... it will make you hold you're breath and say holy shit. The right rear passanger side wheel is literally where the passanger was. You'll see.....
This accident was a block from my house. My dad actually saw it happen. Where they were waiting to turn left is the turn to my house, you turn left and follow the road then my house is right there.

When I bought the Ack, my original intent was to keep my Expedition, and buy a 2003-2004 Cayman. But for practicality, I decided to trade in the Expy and go with the Ack.

So I would definately support the move (as long as I get a ride)

i see a lot of people does drive these kind of cars around. it would be a lot of bumpy ride for them. i spoted soup up black z06 next to my house that thing is like a inch from the ground. can imagine if he hit a pot hole? that thing is gonna be lots of $$$$$ to fix it.
finally sanded my headlight on my day off. its look like new now, but still have to order headlight film to cover it from future oxidation and turn it to yellow.

I don't know of any car with a factory suspension that would ride more harshly than my TL. Running the lo-pro 18's has really given me the bounce-around when I do things like get off 94 at 5th street, that exit is like driving on the moon!

I don't know if this will go anywhere, but I have the TL up on CL and have already gotten some interest at the price I posted, which is not a bad deal for me. If I sell the TL, then I have to figure something else out by Spring. I think I can get through the winter without a car if I had to.

You just wanted to use TL and CL in the same sentence, asshat.

Actually, if we want to talk about a rough ride, I would have referenced your car. That thing is like riding on struts.

Ok, so I just watched most of an episode of Australia's Top Gear, and I have to say, they did a great job of taking something great and turning it into a turd.

You would think that they would have been able to come up with something a little unique, a variation on a theme if you will. But, no, they just made a carbon copy with a bunch of Australian guys instead of Jezza, Hamster and Captain Slow. It was really quite depressing...

See what you have to look forward to Jermaine?

josh, you wanna swap exhaust man? your comptechs for my stockies lol, most people who buys TL arent lookin for that anyway. i'll even throw in a few benjamins

and as promised, the contrast didnt come out real well, you can see it a little more obvious in personl but it still blends in pretty nicely
