Yeah, the TL has 225/17s and so does the Mini, so I should have much better traction. But, all this depends on me selling the TL.

One of you guys has to know someone that needs a new car. Slepy, you know a bunch of kids with cash, sell one of them my TL.

I've heard rumors you can get the code from your vin... infact I did it for my girlfriends Civic.

They wouldnt give me it from the vin for my car, but it took about 2-3 minutes to get the radio out... and I called and read the serial.

Did you press 1 and 6 simultaneously before pressing power? That did it for me, just press it a bunch of times, then I called Acura with the serial so they could give me the codes. I'll send ya DVD Santa when I get home.

Did not realise there was this big of an Acura club in the Twin Cities.

I dont drive an Acura, but a competitor. A G35.

Here is my car

And here is a pic from one of our meets.

I live in Eden Prairie by the way, and im probably younger than msot of you

Anyways, it would be sweet if you got together for a big meet some time. Would be cool stuff.

Let me know, otherwise come and join up on our TC chat thread on g35driver.

I think you need to have the key in pos. 1 and then hold buttons 1 and 6 while you push the power button on the HU.

man owning a G at 17 off of your own blood and sweat. power to yo. btw im Ken

and josh, 500 bucks for those wheels i might just jump on it. problem is my front brakes are giving off so much dusk i got deposits the size of mountains on my front wheels. i think it's the pads, but if i change em i wanna do rotors too, and if i do rotors i wanna do a legend 2 piston swap too......maybe i'll just buy some hawk pads...

It's in the black market for $13,5 as is. If the buyer wants it cheaper, I will take off some of the items and sell them to whomever wants them. The wheels would be easiest to remove since I have something to bolt on afterwards, but Razzi was talking about swapping out my exhaust and throwing me some cash.

Eh - don't worry about that. Most of Razzi's surveillance pics come from elementary schools too

Where was that meet pic from? Almost looks like the new development in Coon Rapids, but it could be almost anywhere (probably maple grove?). That style is the new thing I guess.

Definately let us know about any upcoming meets. I just put the aspec kit on my car this past weekend, and I want to show it off before Nov 1st - that's when I decided the car goes for the winter. Mainly because that's when I have to have my truck off the street. But, I guess as long as there's no snow, no reason I couldn't take it out for an afternoon.

ooo man i'll make it rain on you josh

the funny thing is my brother called me last night and asked how i was doing. told him great, he asked how college is with me and my brother. said great. he asked if we're carpooling. yeah. so he asked if i would want my own car and give the TL to my lil bro. i played along, asked what car. he said a 350Z. if i wasnt a broke ass college student livin in the ghetto i'da jumped on it. i keep telling him i'll take an rsx type-s but he said i shouldnt be driving a girl's car

so maybe once i move out towards to U and have a garage or something i'll jump on a 2003 Z or something cause i'll be over 21 by then and insurance will only take money out of my hands instead of forcefully extracting it out of my behind

My brother has an M Coupe and a G35 coupe, I just don't want to pay for either of them. I'm getting cheap in my old age! Actually, I just have more important places to spend my dough than on my car.

I still want the M5, but it is going to have to wait until I get a secondary car for going to the grocery store and whatnot. Until then, I have to have a car that is competitive.

As for the 350Z, those things are heavier than my TL. According to Cars.com, the touring version weighs over 3800lbs!!! That's more than 200lbs more than the Type S!!

There are some on that page that are in my price range, so maybe I'll have to go drive one? As a matter of fact, let me see how late that dealer is open...

^Cant be right. Thats a G37 coupe weight.

And the 350z does not have backseats, trunk, all the leather ect.

They weight a little less than that.

The meet pic was taken in Maple Grove at their new Chipotle

The coupe is 3300 for the performance trim. Slightlynless for touring and enthusiasts. The convertible is like 3600 at most. It's not that heavy to. And a Z is like that Porsche u wanted without the snobby dealership

So Cars.com is wrong.

Funny you should mention the 'snobby dealership' of Porsche. I just went to drive one of those 350Z that you sent, and I couldn't get a single person in the dealer to help me. I waited 15 minutes and even asked for assistance, but no go. I bet $10 that if I had gone to a Porsche dealer I would have been helped out of my car and offered a soda.

I actually called you to see if you wanted to go, but you didn't answer your phone.

Josh heres some motivation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRJfunNTtik

One of the sickest Z's I've ever seen. Its pretty aggresively cam'ed in that video and absolutely screams. Its now turboed (since I left Pittsburgh) and he'll probably be at nationals next year in SM2. I think he runs 315 A6s on the back too!
