Everyone cool with showing up between 11 and 1? We can hang out as long as we want, but I want to put the bottom end of the arrival times at 11. We'll probably eat around 1, so if you want some grub, be here by then...

I've got a grill on my balcony, or if it is nice enough we can go cook on the roof with the community grill. And yes, I am in a loft a block or so from the Guthrie.

I am getting burgers and cheese, Jorge's bringing buns and chips, Matt's bringing a couple of chickens. Other than that, no one has committed to bringing anything.

You could bring some coke (for my rum!), some beer, some pasta salad, baked beans, whatever you want to eat really. It looks like there are going to be about 8 people here including your fiance and my wife.

8k Direct Replacement bulbs in the headlights, no modding just pop out the stock bulbs and drop these in.

And 3k Yellow HID 9006 kit for the foglights, Come with direct plug and play and the ballast come with PERFECT mounting brackets to use some stock 10mm holes that are on the frame rail! w00t!

Not shit. I'm gonna call and pitch a fit to the management company tomorrow morning. I was at the last board meeting where a decision was made, at the suggestion of the management company, to put a warning on a car before towing. Since none of the cars today received any form of warning, nor have any of my guests in the past, I am expecting the management company to write me a check for the cash that Jermaine is out.

I'll let you know how it goes, I should not have any issues since I talked to a board member and verified that I am remembering the conversation correctly.

Jermaine's car got towed by an overenthusiastic front desk person. They had Jorge's car up on the rig ready to go and he had the parking pass on his dash. I plan to pitch one holy hell of a fit tomorrow.

One good note is that we got to meet our local MAP employee and get some GT5 racing in.

For sure. Josh, Me and the future wife thank you for having us over. You make some killer chicken! Your place is really nice and it takes a helluva a guy to let a stranger and his girl into a home such as yours.

Sucks about the towing but I had a good time otherwise. It sucks that happened to jermaine is he is REALLY cool guy.

Josh, when is the next get together. We need to get some drinks during the week. I do nothing at all during the week (Still new to MN and all my friends I work with and get sick of them lol)

Let me know if you guys need ANYTHING!

I think that Jorge was geeking pretty hard on your exhaust, You may be able to talk him into one of the systems you have in stock.

I have been working on that chicken recipe all summer, I think I have made over 20 chickens so far this year, and I am planning on cooking my turkey on the rotisserie this year too.

Other than friday (a free play that one of my friends is directing, all are welcome) I have no plans for the week. We usually spend time at home to try and save money, which is more important now that we have decided to get the 2009 Civic Si. Anyone that knows someone looking for a car needs to sell my TL. I dropped the price to $12k to try and get it moving.

Damn man - big bummer on the tow. So Jorge got his car off the truck then? This weekend was kind of a wash. Friday was awesome, yesterday could have just as well not happened.

Basically came down to this - I had about 30 people coming to my party. Some said coming on Friday, others said coming on Saturday. Well I never really made the initiative to find out who was coming when.

Well, Friday - tapped the 16 gallon over at my neighbors and only 2 of my friends showed up. So it was us 4 with the neighbors and their 4 friends. We were going to play poker, but never made it past drinking. Eventually the cards did come out, but we still continued to play drinking games instead of organized poker. Was a blast, nice and small crowd. If anything the unfortunate part of the evening is that we hit the keg pretty hard and consumed over 3/4 of it. I expected that we were playing poker, and would barely skim the top.

Saturday night - had to buy a second keg (8 gal) to make sure we didnt run out of beer. Well, about 25+ people showed up. Long story short, there were a handful of people just getting all fucked up and got past the respectful point, and just starting making a mess of shit. I had barbeque sauce all over my kitchen floor from people dropping food and not doing anything about it, bro-in-law dumped a hole bag of chips in the middle of the floor being drunk and forgetting which end was up, chick finding antacids in the cupboard and being too drunk to realize it was liquid, so she just poured a bunch in her hand. Stupid shit like that. Plus I had like 20 smokers in the garage wanting to keep the door open cause it was getting too smokey. Well, at 11pm - a bunch of people being all drunk and yelling in my driveway isn't cool, so I'd shut the door. Go inside, and 5 minutes later the door would be open and people would be out in my front yard again.

Finally just after midnight I told everyone that the party was going to be rapping up because there was shit all over my house and I couldn't keep babysitting everyone. I think like 90% of the people understood, the ones that were the problem apparently didn't see the problem but left anyways. Kind of sucked, because I never even got a buzz or anything because I had used up all my mojo the night before. Plus I was too busy being paranoid about so many people milling about to let loose and get a little fun.

I guess that's the problem with throwing a party, and having friends bring people too. You invite people that you trust and know they have a little respect, and they bring some douchebag that doesn't know you and just doesn't care.

Wow.. thank god someone invented paragraphs. I might have lost you guys long before if they weren't there.

I took off running through the parking structure because I heard a diesel truck. I ran up to them and was shaking my head and making a "cut throat" motion with my hands by my neck. I was like, "Drop it, now."

They put his down and we gave them some 'tude and that was that.

Josh - I'll see what I can do about getting your car sold. I might pick up another one? Not sure!

I'm Jermaine, yeah I got it back. And believe me.....i'm pissed. But being in that situation, i didnt have many options at the time. It was either go....pay to get it out and try to get the cash back. Or just be ass'd with no transportation until everything was sorted out. I just cant believe that the 'no name' front desk clerk tried to make it seem like her shit didnt stink. Believe me, if i see her again......she better be on her BEST behavior.

Jorge, here is the plastic 'knife' (lol)...that you we were talking about today.

For $4.50, is well worth IMO.

How much did it cost? Was your car hurt after those guys got their mitts on it

The thought of some strange tow truck driver.... hooking chains and sh** up to my car, and dragging it onto a tow truck... is giving me shivers.

And we would need to be removing our panels for what reason? Do I smell mods coming Jorge? I'd love to get a stereo in mine, but I don't think I will ever be in a position that I feel like spending a couple grand to do it right. I've gone both ways (just replacing speakers, or adding amps and eq's and such) - I love a nice sound system, but it tears your car apart after so long. I guess you can always do the yearly tightening of all screws, but that's not my cup of tea either.

Now that I've ranted about car stereos, whats your plan then? I'm guessing stereo or hard wiring a radar detector?
