ok, so i took out all the wires in the back of the headunit, and tried plugging in the wire hookups i bought from circuit city, and it doesn't fit any of the slots... er, what does that mean?

Don't feed the...WTF?
The wires you bought from circuit city should hook up to your car's wiring harness, not the waire harness for the radio. You need to cut off the old wire butt connectors from the radio harness (so you have bare wires again), and tie those into the wire harness that you just bought. Then you plug the harness into the car, and the other end into the radio.
But then there is the problem with the amp you'll need to bypass. So you might not want to connect your speaker wires to the harness, since you will be using new speaker wires outside of the vehicle wiring.
If you haven't done so yet, I would download a copy of the wiring diagram for the radio, so you know what colors are for what. Then you look at the wiring harness you bought from CC and match the wires from that harness, to the radio.
Generally, the colors are as follows:
Blue = remote / power antenna (sometimes there are multiple remote leads)
Red = 12v constant (clock, presets, etc)
yellow = 12v switched (radio's power)
black = ground
speakers are colored, with a stripe on the negative. But you'll be running the wires anyways, so just know which wires are for what as your running them.

So I am guessing that we didn't do diddly for Jermaine on his last weekend in town since I never heard from everyone and no one posted info.
Jermaine, if you want to come over for dinner tomorrow night, or just to hang out, lemme know and we'll figure it out.

Been a while guys...what's goin on?
You guys think $10,xxx is a good price for a 2003 EVO? It's blue. It's mileage is somewhere in the in the mid 50k.
I have a relative who came and asked me if I wanted to buy it. I havent seen it in person but the condition is good. Still looks new as I was told. No problems with the car.
I don't think I'll buy it (I want to though!) but does anyone know the book value for a car like this?
She bought it brand new with 0 miles back in 03.....going through a little problem (Divorce!) so she is wanting to sell it.

My girlfriend just had her car stolen and stripped, if you dont want it im pretty sure we would buy it for that as her new car.
She doesnt like EVOs at all, but at worse we would relist it at 16k and make coin.
Edit: infact, I'm serious, I'll take it if you dont. Just have to figure out a loan, but I will seriously take it. I can use the profit to eliminate my school debt.

When she asked me about buying her car for $10k, I was thinking wtf! I still see these for close to 20g's?
I called her again. She said the $10k price is a family deal for me. I'm sorry... She is still just beginning the whole divorce process, I dont really know what's going on, but she was told by either her loan officer or her attorney, that she should sell the car.
I'll try to see how much they really wanna sell it for later. I just checked the values too. Looks between 15k-17k.

Well If she is willing to sell it for anything in the 10's to someone else (aka me) tell her I'd love to discuss it with her and can get in contact.

I'll let ya know if so. I don't know what they'd think of me if I took advantage of that opportunity (buy and sell) lol I'd just buy it to drive and give the TL to my sister since I got it for pretty cheap too. I need some AWD.

You'd be correct on that assumption. I'm assuming Jermaine is a pretty busy guy these days. I know I get all frustrated and run around like mad when I have something as stupid as having people over for dinner. Let alone packing up for the never-ending wallaby hunt.
Well - I'm sure Jermaine will either check this before he goes, or once he gets there he may chime in. Good luck, and hopefully everything goes great in the land down under.

Good luck to ya jermaine. I never did find out what you were going for.
Another topic. Lately my router will restart for no reason. It cuts off all wifi in the house for a few seconds. This is really irritating when you're gaming cause it pretty much ensures a drop.
I looked into it and saw mentioning of dos attacks and packets from weird IPs and stuff. Any of you tech savvies wanna chime in? Got a linksys with comcast cable btw

As for your router, I would check it out pretty thoroughly because it sounds like it has been hacked and someone else is using it. I would try changing the internal IP, not broadcasting your SSID, adding WPA security with a 128-bit key, and changing the default user ID and Pwd for the router for starters.

I've tried with zero success - since I've only even opened PS twice. But what you do is use the lasso tool and outline the car's bottom, and both wheel wells. Then you slide the car down, and use the blend tool to shade everything in.
I think if you google lower car in photoshop it will give you the exact details. I think I may have even read it on here. If you get all cool with PS I want to see a few things on my car...

bleh no PS on the laptop else i'd do it for you.
easier yet, just select your wheels/tires and move them up. it'll leave a nice white spot where the tire was but that's no biggy

I like making the split right along the bottom edge of the bumper, up around the wheel well, and along the bottom of the side skirt, etc... then moving the car down.
That way the front lip gets closer to the shadow under it and it actually looks lower. Just moving the wheels up still makes the car appear stock height, almost as if you just got bigger wheels that fill the wheel well better but its not any lower.

This took about 10 min in MSPaint:
Messed up a few details (lost mud flaps, seam around wheel wells is shitty, but I'm at work and should be working on this stuff anyways)
The key is what I was mentioning about the front lip looking lower now

Alright guys, ive been busy as shit the last few weeks with school, working two jobs and keeping the gf happy but hopefully ill have a little more time on here over break. Now i got another question for all you guys...my tires BLOW in snow and if im going to drive this thing all winter something needs to be done. My stock rims are crap from being curbed a million times so i had an idea. I found some blizzak snow tires on craigslist for pretty cheap, but there 215/65 instead of 215/50. I know they will fit the rims, but will they fit the car alright? Its an 01 CL-S. I thought i would get those, put them on my crappy rims, then look for some better wheels come spring. What do you guys think?

I was cleaning my garage and have a M3 lip i made in to a rear window spoiler. I tried to make it look like a Sarona but it did not turn out that way. Anyway if anybody wants it let me know. I live in Buffalo and been a member here for a while. By the way it's painted SSM. Let me know. Thanks, Kent

damn, my wife was coming home from work and some asshole rear-ended our 07 accord. My wife is ok but the car looks fudged up. I wish the insurance company would just total the car. It has been nothing but bad luck to me and my wife.
