Based on input from last night, it seems that Friday is the night to be there.

I just rolled back to the race sight during the day to check it out. Man that place is sketchy as hell lol, much more so when you can see what's there. Definitely a good spot for racin though, no traffic, no real cross streets to speak of. I like it.

We just need to get a street sweeper out there to get rid of some of the dust. That 350 spun all the way through 1st and there wasnt a mark on the ground.

We will meet again the coming Friday. Its probably not going to be a 'meet' like the one we had last week but you might be able to meet few of us. And if more people show up we can definitely have another meet too

Hey dudes,

took some pics of the CL ob Sunday - leme know what you think:

https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/pics-import-eurasia-show-tonight-11-10-a-192375/

We should get together during the day one weekend (once we've washed our cars) and take some nice group shots! One car gets boring lol.

Thanks Hasham. The third to last is my favorite one too.

You take Portland Ave S toward the river if you are coming from the city. Just punch Portland Ave S and S Second St as an intersection into google maps or something and you can get there and then it's obvious.

Let me know if your coming over to take pics and I'll drive down and we can snap a few together as well. I live 5 blocks away. Tomorrow morning aint gonna happen unless it's mad early, and I don't think that will happen either lol.

We met last weekend but would like to meet again this Saturday. underst8 had a nice suggestion about a photo shoot. We can all gather sometime before the sunset this Saturday. Last week we meet at 1300 University Ave, St Paul and then drove around a bit before hitting the strip to check out some drag racing. We can either pick the same spot or any where else more convenient for everyone.

As for the car being clean don't worry about that TL speaks for itself

How about "The Grand Rounds Scenic Byway" for a run. The twists next to the river looks fun. Here is the link to google maps:

meet will probably be somewhere in St Paul or Minneapolis area next Friday night or sat during the day before sunset for group pics. No real concreteness yet. It's probly just gonna be one of those things where whoever can show up will as we get closer - that's the way it feels.

I'll be there whenev - bring that TL around!

As for the scenic byway, it's a nice cruise but nothing speedy. It's like a thin road/scenic drive along the river. Real pleasant, but might suck cause you really wanna rip it up around the curves and can't cause it runs through a park with people and kids and probably cops and such. But it's relaxing and a bunch of acuras rolling down it might be nice. would be good for pics most def.

I can make it for a photo shoot, just give me at least an hour notice so I can put a quick wash on my baby.

Also, if you guys are meeting up near the Guthrie, give me a call, I live across the street from there.

I just came back drove up and down the twisty road but underst8 is right its a thin road. It was a weekday around noon not lot of people around but Saturday esp if the weather is nice there might be lot of people. Its def a nice place to shoot some pictures. Those arches might look nice at night too they have lights pointing up in the arch if anyone has a nice camera for some night time shot its going to be awesome!!

Nov 10th photo shoot meet

I am going to go check out some action Friday night at Vandalia St. I know underst8 will be there and possible Razzi as well, anyone else interested can meet us there too.

Otherwise let's all meet Saturday morning/afternoon behind the Guthrie theatre for some group pictures and a chilled out drive on the scenic road!!

Can we get one of those petitions to get rid of the tint law too? I would love to get rid of that too. If we can't get rid of it, it would be nice to bring the limit down to something reasonable like 25% or something, 50% is a waste of time and money.

As for the swap, if you have a garage, I'll help you out, it's not that difficult.

To those of you that are interested, I will be heading over to the Cardinal on 55 tomorrow night for a dart league that I am subbing in for. Starts at 7 and goes to 10, I think.

There isn't really any parking down there, so I would recommend taking the light rail down there.

I run through that parking lot every day. I'll be there at noon. In fact, I just canceled my Friday morning service appointment where I was going to have my winter wheels put on -- they can wait 'till Monday if there are photos to be taken.

Seriously? You pay someone to change your wheels? Are they swapping out tires too?

Nope, wheels. While I recognize it makes me a big damn yuppy, I'll gladly pay a few bucks per year for someone to swap 'em out for me and store the off-seasons in their shop rather than my basement.

Speaking of paying for what you could do yourself, I'll be at the T&Y Carwash 20 minutes before the photo shoot. http://www.citypages.com/bestof2003/...d/summary.asp: T & Y Car Wash
601 N. Fifth Street. It's a hand wash that does a good job and definitely takes care not to scratch the rims when pulling the car through. I imagine if six Acuras showed up in 30 minutes they couldn't help but notice.

I'm there. Better than the damn spray n wash I had to resort to last time.

What time is everyone available to meet on saturday? I'm free all day - hopefully going to install my new pedal set in the morning before we all meet up

On the google link it said photos at noon, so I was figuring car wash at 11:30, but I'm plenty flexible so long as I don't have to wake up before 10am.

I can get behind the storage thing, living in the city does have its storage limits.

x2 on the time for the shoot, I'm mostly open, just need to know when.
