I got it, good stuff. Check your email.
I do like the big spoon idea I think it is very appropriate. Where is that big spoon exactly?

Thanks for the input and keep the ideas coming.
Send any pics and list of mods you want on your member's page to underst8@mspacura.org and if you want an email address at that domain we can do that too. Let me know if you want your real names or member names displayed too!
Anyone on here from MN who wants I will add a member page for you. And you guys from WI and Chitown, if you ever make it up you will get an honorary member page

We can all tear onto the grass in a coordinated positioning of our cars/storming of the spoon, all jump out and take as many pics as we can until we have to scramble from the Walker security. It just might work

Don't feed the...WTF?
Hmmm... I have to work that day I think....
I guess this means that I should snap some shots of my car huh? Maybe this weekend if it stays nice out enough that I can get from the car wash to my house without getting stuck behind some jacked up 4x4 with no mud flaps.
Maybe I could go the ebay way - and just use some stockies from Acura...lol
"Them there Coon Rapids mountians make for some real nice pictures"

There would be if I used Acura's stock photo's as my own ;-)
As for chinese... I like the Dragon House off of central (65) and 40th. Another great place is the Lotus Garden. That again is off central and... umm.. Not sure the cross street. It's in Blaine, by a J's pizza and a pawn shop. They have been voted best spring rolls for like 5 out of the last 7 years. Good stuff.

Village wok, on the other hand never impresses me.
When I'm looking for soup I usually go to Pho 79 on Nicollet or Pho Tau Bay on Nicollet. When I'm on University near Dale I can't keep away from Little Szechuan -- their spicy bamboo appetizer is amazing.

By the way, Shuang Cheng is pretty damn good. I kind of put the guy on the spot and said, 'what's really good?' and he recommended a really tasty dish that wasn't too pricey. I had the Mongolian Beef and E (the wife) had a mock duck dish that was pretty excellent. Dan was sweating his head off with some Curry Beef, it was quite funny.
Now we just need to check out the rest of that list. But, Shuang Cheng has definitely been added to the list of places for good Chinese.
Razzi, I still want some of those famous eggrolls though! You should bring a gang of them to the next meet.

lol, still nice
quick question, especiaally for the 2nd TLers, my car's making this stupid humming/vibrating noise as i go faster, i've asked around and it's been suggested as either lower ball joint or wheel bearing. i've been told by more reputable sources that it's the wheel bearing. went to autozone to ask for one, but they said it came as an entire hub assembly, im almost positive you can buy it separate.
any comments, im searching as i post this

other thing, i just got some new exhaust tips for my car cause the old ones were rusting. problem is, the inside pipe that the tip clamps onto, it kinda angles downward so it forces the tip to also slant downward, the other tip slants to one side. i tried to force the pipe by hand but god that shit is thick. so im wonderin if anyone has a torch or something that i can heat this shit up and bend it, or a really really big ass wrench
if it doesnt make any sense i'll take pics tomorrow

Sunday is the brew party, but if you're bringing eggrolls, I'll be sure to at least stop in for a visit...
By the way, I had that same problem with my first 2nd gen (non Type S) it sounds like the pads have completely worn out and you are pressing metal against metal? If so, the fix is a new wheel bearing. Mine was the left front, went out at 50K miles.

I'm not trying to be a wetblanket, but from years of living on the west side AND as the acquaintance of a Golden Valley police officer, I can tell you that 394 is the most heavily patrolled stretch of highway in the state. In a Co-operative between the GVPD and Minnesota State Patrol, there are speed traps on 394 on a daily basis. (usually around the Louisiana Exit).
I'm known for my lead foot, but I've been told you should never go above 65 between Penn and Plymouth Rd., so I don't.
Now, if you're looking for an unpatrolled 1.5 mile road with no turns and a median, you MIGHT find it along the river by DT Saint Paul...

i know it's not something i do on that highway often...this was at like 1am and I was out cruising for a bit to calm down and just got it up to speed for a minute then back down to the limit...Josh just informed me of the 3-ticket license is gone rule in this state, so now that is always on my mind ruining my fun.
I will have to check out that other road, though

The St. Paul Mississippi river road is good. but sometimes you'll run into a few slower cars, its def a good drive. me and some people ran it last fall at a meet at St. Thomas
