sound like a plan. thanks for the invite. I already have everything planned though, but i'll keep that as a Plan B...I'm fortunate enough to be @ a School which has an awesome engineering department that has everything i need to do the job right. from the welding shop for all my fabrication/welding needs to the autoshop which has everything an autoshop SHOULD have except a dyno . my autoshop teacher is my number 1 tool. he has 16+ years as a MIDAS shop manager and will be my helper(tell me what to do guy when i get lost).lol

at my disposal
3 car lifts
all snap-on tools
scanners
tire machine
tire balancer
wheel alignment(currently broken down )
air tools
everything i need for welding(+free metal)
Mitchell 5.0!! (its like an electronic repair manual...but for every car !!!)
etc etc etc....

and about B-dubs . i go to b-dubs every tuesday with co-workers..Blazin Challenge Survivor 3min 20sec is my best time. i'll do it again up there.

hey guys

thanks for all the comments!

Guys i would appreciate any help you guys can give because I dont know of any of the performance shops in the twin cities areas except for ELITE. If you guys know of any shops that are pretty good can you let me know so i can give them a call and see if they are hiring(it is slow season..but)

Here is the jist, i am working on alot of custom projects and always having things run through my head at age 22. There is a place in my small town i want to rent and put a lift in etc but this time of year it wont work. Also i would be installing a dyno for sure. Anyways i would have to be pulling 3k a month just to pay for itself.

Anyways I hope to stay in touch with you guys, basically anything close to the cities. I just dont want to be installing tires etc at $8hr but whatever..

PS-Just got a used m90 supercharger finally to finish my one project!! hehe
Also type in "acura legend" on streetfire.net for a teaser vid.

Yeah, I wish I could find a place for a shop up here and rent out part of it to this guy while I build up the business. He could rent it for the daytime business hours and I could rent it out to whomever for the rest of the time.

All I am waiting on is a decent place to rent/buy in a decent neighborhood at a decent price. Did I say decent enough?

there's a aftermarket tuning place like 5 blocks from my house. but they're more low rider/dubz and body work than any real motorwork that we're more into.
i think one of my mechanic's friends just moved out of his shop, i'll look into it and let u know
btw, one hell of a teaser vid. cant wait to see more. definitely waiting for a meet so i can see the legend in person lol

I can find out some for you guys too. Since I have all of my buddies with the f-bodies that are getting built up. A few of them have used shops to buy their parts from.

Man - I wish you guys could see a friend of my buddies suburban that just put a lingenfelter in. This is a sweet ride inside and out. Imagine a 3 ton, 4x4 vehicle that would smoke ours any day of the week. Makes me think of whoever posted on here about the super jeeps they use over in iraq (like 700 some horse s/c or turbo'ed)

Ok ok.... back on topic. I can let you know what I find out.

super jeeps are cool, but I like what the British special forces are using in iraq - mad sleepers. Like beat-ass crappy looking rusted out sedans but with 400+hp engines lol.

I am in works on a custom supercharger kit for G2 Acura legends.
My be reproducing a turbo kit for the legends.
Doing a custom turbo kit for Aveo.(i know..)
Want to do a fully done kit for TLs with ceramic coating on piping etc.

I plan on getting a business name setup and then in spring running my own shop. Otherwise I guess i will just find work as a tech or whatever in the cities and do stuff on the side.

dunno.

Yes I am trying to get a feel for the demand for clear diffusers from all generations of TL and CL.

TL people: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...0&page=7&pp=25

CL people: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...9&page=5&pp=25

Long and the short of it is my Dad has a factory where these could be produced, but the expensive thing is the mold, so I am trying to see if there would be enough demand where I could sell this at around $40 and not lose money.

Oh and Ken that was from Hasham's spare 2g TL headlight. I baked it last night. Going to reseal it when I get back to MN and do a condensation test in preparation for doing my own headlights if/when these diffusers happen.

Depends if i get a buddy of mine to loan me his one TL, and if another buddy buys a 2002 TL or not. I have the plans drawn up, but you need a mock up car. Anyways, I saw that there is a turbo kit for sale for that ronjon show CL?? I am curious to see the details of that kit.

He's making it himself. We all want one and will continually demand a diy until he posts it once the key is finished.

For Christmas I got a USA-Spec iPod interface, and money to do my 105k service (best present ever lol).

I've been using this as a DIY
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35916

and the remote is pretty much a loss so far unless we can get our own board to fit in the Switchblade....

The local Subaru folks have small cards printed up for tucking into the door seals of notable Subarus directing them to their online presence. Perhaps something like that wouldn't be a bad notion. Certainly not every local Acura driver is interested in Acura community, but when you see a modded car it's not too far out of the realm of possibility.

participation seems kinda low for any meet so i guess it'll have to wait until spring.
but on that note does anyone know a good driving route around the twin cities here? good amount of twists and turns without stops at 50+ mph

I don't know of anything right around here, but on a nice summer day - nothing beats a run around taylors falls for an afternoon. Really it's only 40 or so minutes away so it's not that bad.
