I don't have materials, just some fence posts. Not $1800 worth that's for sure. I'm going after him for the entire amount, those fence posts are useless to me laying in my yard
1. till the soil with a power tiller (rent from HD)
2. once it's tilled, rent a roller and roll it as flat as possible accounting for drainage. I wish I had done this, but didn't.
3. I used a 50/50 mix of potting soil and deoderized manure to cover the grass seed/starter fertilizer mix after I spread it. Worked well.
4. water it for 5 minutes every 4-6 hours for the first few weeks, then drop back to every other day, then to a normal watering schedule.
Don't really need to till or roll. It will certainly be beneficial but not really necessary.
You can literally mix some quality topsoil, some starter fert, and grass seed together then use a broadcaster to lay it all out.

^All we did for my neighbors' yards were remove the large rocks, rake the dirt smooth, cover with an inch of top soil (nutrients and manure all mixed in) spread the seed, then lightly cover with top soil, and both yards turned out great. Planning to do the same for my yard when the time comes. Right now it's just dirt and clay, I will be spreading top soil, and then putting seed down, etc.
Sounds like you have the process down, hope it turns out well!
I am filling in a few areas that the birds tore up during the seeding. there must have been ants or grubs in those spots, because the birds literally dug 3-4 inch depressions in 12" wide circles in a few areas...

I put down Grub-Ex once a year. Believe it or not it's made a difference. I was never really a believer. Lol
And completely against what the purists would say, I've had solid success with the Scotts Patchmaster stuff. It's just grass seed mixed with shredded recycled newspaper clippings. I put it down in all the bare or "light" areas of my lawn and now they are some of the best spots I have. It works well because unlike hay or additional soil, the paper gets wet, stays wet, and once wet doesn't move around.

Theater looks great but damn, that blows about the fence, people suck.
Outlets get easier and easier as you go and why do all women paint them
I mentioned in another thread but I did black outlets and SS covers in my mom's kitchen when I did the backsplash, much better (stole the idea from someone's garage rebuild, maybe the drone, railroad, traffic light dude on the west coast).

I have no idea, I was removing them and replacing them in the bedrooms, came out and they were already painted over. Bitch didn't listen, I told her to at least let me get the covers off, they had already been painted over before, go figure

Criminal complaint filed, civil complaint comes next. Now working with a professional excavator to figure out how bad he botched my yard up before I can even think about a fence

He left a pallet of stone pieces in a low spot, which created drainage issues, plus the side hill where he dug out all my bushes is now draining right at my foundation. Going to have to regrade that entire side of the house (He was supposed to grade my yard, but yeah...)

You've had a string of tough luck lately, man...so, with how ying-yang works, maybe you should buy a lottery ticket!

Got my new receiver for the living room, and got it all setup. Still needs a lot of tweaking and configuring, but it works great so far!

The old pioneer that I had in the living room will be moved down to the man-cave to replace the Blu-Ray all in 1 that was down there.

Not a big update, but I tore down the Bluray 5.2 system in my man cave and moved it up to my bedroom to replace the 2.1 DVD system that I had in there with my 47" TV. Sounds so much better, and the picture is of course better as well. Temporarily mounted the front channel speakers on my little stand until I figure out where on the wall to mount them.

Definitely will this weekend, need to finish fine tuning the Pioneer in the living room, and get the old one all hooked up in the basement before Hockey/Football starts

Chris, check with your city/state/county for rebates...in ours, there's a $100 credit on your water bill for going with a new eco one...almost all the new ones are. We didn't qualify because the house was too new so they knew the toilet wasn't a huge upgrade for us.
