We actually looked in Lake Wylie but decided on Waxhaw, NC... so not far from Stonecrest. We like this area better b/c of the horse farms and all of the homes going up were high-end houses.. so just seemed like a better investment here. So far we love it! Where do you live?
when you don't have a (good) working system of your own, buy one..

Sony and Xfire confirm online PS3 partnership
Matt Martin 14:01 11/10/2006
Cross-platform features for future console and PC titles
Xfire is developing a middleware solution that will allow developers to incorporate cross-platform communications between users playing on PC and the PlayStation 3 console.
Sony's PS3 launch title Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom will be the first title to incorporate online functionality via the Xfire gaming service, allowing users to communicate whether using console or home computer.
The announcement confirms rumours that surfaced last month, and highlights Sony's willingness to incorporate third-party solutions in its answer to Microsoft's Xbox Live.
"Many of our PC game players already use Xfire to find and play with their friends online," said John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment.
"By integrating Xfire features into our games we are able to strengthen our online community, making it even easier for our players to remain connected, whether they're on a PC or a PlayStation 3," he added.
"The opportunity to work with the PlayStation 3 is tremendous," said Mike Cassidy, CEO of Xfire.
"Many Xfire gamers and game publishers have been asking us about a version of Xfire for console play for some time now. Working with SOE on one of their highly anticipated PlayStation 3 launch titles is a very exciting beginning for Xfire's new console game product."

I'm not seeing the article mention that Sony bought anyone And where does it say Sony doesn't have a good online system? It won't be launched until the system is launched... so how do we know if the online is good or not until it is launched??

I live off off of Ballantyne's common pkwy right around the corner from EB.
Waxhaw is a growing area because of Charlotte (property taxes). I saw some of the pictures or your house and the Palisades are similar.

I'll take it a step further and say anyone who pays over msrp for a game system is a fool. A fool with alot of money...but still a fool.Look at all the suckers that paid huge $$ for Xbox 360's last year...and now they are everywhere. The same will be the case of the PS3.
damn me for not preordering a PS3 and making big money out of the fools who want the thing asap!!
i told myself i was gonna do this with the PS3 after seeing what happened with the 360
hopefully there will be other places to preorder before the launch

I got my 360 on eBay this past July for $430 shipped. That included the Premium system, NCAA 2007, extra controller, and 13 month XBOX Live gold subsciption card.... when the stores are still selling the system only for $399.99. So for $30 more I got all of that extra stuff.
I'll be doing the same thing for the PS3. I'd rather wait 6-12 months and get a deal then pay more then MSRP just to have it a little sooner. Makes no sense to do the latter.

Well, you did imply that overpaying for something over MSRP on eBay was foolish. And well, I took exception to that. *sniffs*

does it annoy anyone else that there are people who got multiple pre-orders at gamestop (who are trying to sell at a profit on ebay) and there are people (like me) who tried to get one but didn't becuase they were all taken? Well it annoys me.
