PS3, PS4, PC: Diablo 3
Some basics is like any rare 1 handed weapon with 800+ dps, life on hit, life steal, socket, crit damage or high stats. Look for any weapon with a combination of those stats on it. Those will almost always pull in some money.
Most of the money I have made is from items less than $100. I sell a lot of stuff for $10-20 and it adds up. $100+ items are very rare and hard to find and a lot of the stuff in the RMAH priced at $100+ isn't actually worth that and won't sell.
As an example, the pants I sold for $250 had 100 int, 100 vit, 78 all res, 24% gold find, 20% magic find and 2 sockets. Item lvl 63. My friend sold an amulet for $250 and it had 160 dex, 7% attack speed, 60% crit damage and 8% crit chance and poison resist I think it was, some kind of resist.
Hope that helps.
what's your current equips? and your dps. if you have 600+ resists, a1 should be fine. unless you're not killing fast enough. and how much hp/vit do you have? my monk has super shitty gear and he does a1 okay.
No worries, whenever you're free.
life leech % isn't as effective as LoH. it's nerfed in inferno...i think by 80%? someone correct me if i'm wrong.
i would recommend getting an 800+ dps magic 1h axe and socket it with a crit gem. what's your dps at now? my brother first started out as a tank barb but it was boring so now he's a dps barb. so much more fun he said. he sacrificed 20k life for around 20k dps.

my friend tried out the double tornado build...it really does take some getting used to so i'd recommend trying it out before fully committing to the gear for it. you might not like it. and from what i hear you need lots of mobs for it to be effective...wont' be useful against smaller packs of enemies.
wow you're taking on a3 with 27k hp and 11k dps....got balls my friend. what's your resists like?

lol I admit I did it as well even though I can solo act 3 pretty easy on my monk. Was pretty funny...I had like 300% magic find and 60k dps haha
so funny though since the people i usually play with didnt know at the time and when I offered to "tank" for them they were like...YOU--tank!? I trolled them a bit saying my resist was over 1k and my health per second was off the charts. They all died on that larder boss and i just said dont worry--I got this. Most fun I had in that game for a long time lol. Onto the barb exploit!

I have 31k hp and I do 12.5k dmg now.
seriously. i have to admit that it has gotten a bit boring. my monk and barb farm act 3 easily. there are a lot of upgrades that can be made in terms of gears, but it's really just not necessary.
couldn't play too much for the past two weeks, but still, i didn't get a single drop that was worth +500k to sell.
act 3 run gives me like low 50's lvl items. i'm like
gives me not much motivation to play on.

i think once u can farm a3/a4 easily, there's no real challenge. seeing as how i can't solo a3 yet...i still find enjoyment in farming what i can in hopes that i do find a worthy upgrade. ah well. i don't mind. i take occasional breaks so it's not too bad. i'm bored but not bored enough to stop.
Just re-started playing Wiz over the weekend. Got her up to Diablo. Tried him 3 times and couldn't finish him. Getting hits are fine. It's just that i need more dmg to kill him faster. Made couple mistakes here and there. Boom, I'm dead. Didn't have time to try couple more times.
Cool thing is that I spent like 2 mil max on all her gears. Most of the stuff were in my stash.
The key with Wiz is not the damage. It's the life regen and armor. I have like 1000 life regen/7500 armor/30k dmg using a decent shield. I can switch it to 700 life regen/6000 armor/42k dmg just by using a source. But for farming act 3, using the shield seems a lot better in my opinion. She's fun again!

Getting bored with my DH - decided to start building up a Witch Doctor - so far seems pretty cool - I think i'm going to try this power leveling thing i saw online

Just need to find someone who can invite me to a normal level A3 game

Did you play DH for the entire time? If you did, I would suggest Barbarian or Monk! NO MORE KITING! haha
Anyway, I'll help you out with that powerlvling thingy next time I see you in game. I don't play as often as I used to, but just msg me when you see me.

u can't use the fireball from the sky to kill enemies anymore but those 12 monsters yield the fastest exp per time spent still. i did it with my monk, wiz and now barb. i'm so sick of that staircase but meh...fastest exp for powerleveling. in hell it gets me ~20-30k exp per 30 seconds or so.
I just put the bonus experience gem from the beginning and just made my way through the quest really fast. Instantly killing everything on my way. This was very doable because i had some crazy dps low lvl weapons. I think it took less than 10 hours to get to 60 on my demon hunter. lol
Also, if you get cheap lacuni prawlers and hammer jammers. It'll give you like 24-25% movement speed. So, that's pretty damn big in lvling up. Those items are pretty low lvl i think.

Blizzard is so slow though. They should have launched this when the game was released. haha
