check out my wife's WD. the spec is without the follower and completely unbuffed.
it's pretty fat now. spent about 4mil on the gear purchase. all the other gears were picked up by me. most of the gears were random stuff with int/all res/life reg.
i think it can certainly go for act 3 and 4 now.

14k dps is more enough. you know those zombie bears, each one does 250% dmg. 1 zombie bear skills summon 3 bears. that's a lot of.. dmg right there.. haha

My Wizard resis is similar to your WD's but with 3x dmg and 180% crit at 30% chance.
still die like there is no tomorrow in act 3 with 3-4 people.
On the other hand, my WD has 400 resis but with life on hit at around 2000 + 400 life regen and 600 life after kill. i can survive much longer in act 3 and 4 than my wizard. 18k dps.
I personally think with Zombie bear hitting many at the same time, life on hit/regen/life after kill will help you survive/tank much longer than just reply on resis. When you have high resis and life on hit, then you are ready to beat the game.
also invest in a shield that gives you high block chance 30% base with helm with additional block chance 8% will help you like you wont believe it.

Just finished soloing up to Siegebreaker this morning with the WD. Damage isn't much of a problem. Hard to die as well. Which skill build are you using for your WD?
The only thing I want to change on the WD is the shield. The current one is this random one that I had in my stash with 20% block/70 all res with dex I think lol. I should just pick up another 24%-26% block rate with 80 all res magic shield for like 300k gold. I use that damn shield on my barb and monk.
If you can up your all res on the WD without sacrificing other stats, then you will be golden. I can't imagine playing with 400 res in Act 3/4..
Don't know why but playing WD is very different from playing Wiz. My wiz puts out some massive dmg with great crit %/dmg as well, but it's just no fun playing in Act 3. Not because it can't handle it, but it's no fun. WD is freaking fun to play lol.

I have a shield on my wizard that gives 120 int with 80 resis.. you are not going to find anything under 1 mill.
on my WD: sprirt walk with Mana regen rune, life harvest, Jinx(pig), that thing that slow movement by 80% with hands on the ground. Poison dart and zombie bear.
Solo is 1 thing and playing with 4 ppl is completely different. it seems you find better stuff with 4 ppl tho.
The most popular shield is the StormShield (legendary) right now,they go for about 5-10 mill, super high block chance with decent resis. Most of the barbs and Monk use it.
My WD does not use shield because i need the off hand to give me mana and mana regen so i can spam zombie bear longer.
from what i have seen, starting from Act 3 if you are planning to play with group, you will have to give up Zombie bear as it is bad for Kiting.

I play in a full game with my barb mostly and never really have much problem. It's no different than playing a solo game. But I think this mainly depends on who you are playing with. If I play with some of my noob friends, I have to work extra. lol
Never really played in Act 3 with others, so I'll comment on it later.

haha you are crazy man. I leveled 6 chars to 60 but I decided to just focus on my monk and sell off the rest of my gear to advance him. I have solod all of inferno, but farming act 3 is still not very efficient for me compared to act 2. Act 2 I can elite rush with mf gear on and still be fine. I did find a 6 prop glove recipe today in tower of sin though so that kept me motivated to do another act 3 run lol
