You will find so many 900-1000 dps socketed bows for under 500k.....

You guys need to learn how to utilize AH.. haha

Update:

Had to re-do my whole wizard setup due to IAS nerf. Lost 18k dps cuz of it.

Now:

Wizard: Act 3 inferno: Solo: 37k dps 25k health, 1000 resis no buff, 9k armor. Crit Chance 30% at 190% damage
Group with barb/monk - 50k dps, 30k life, 600 resis and 6.5k armor

Witch Doc: Act 2 Inferno: 20k dps, life on hit 1300, Life Regen 700 per sec, life after kill 800. You can see where this one is going.

Just started playing lvl 60 WD. Trying to make him a tanky one.

One question though. When you look for the gears, how do you set the criteria so that you would possibly search the items that would give you, let say, int/vit/all res/life regen or loh?

I always have hard time doing this. I want the WD to stack some life regen, but don't know how to search them well with other necessary stats!

 

Just bought 12 ilvl63 unidentified rares for 4 million gold.... wish me luck! haha I'll be identifying them when I get home tonight.

 

Finally got to level 60 - blew thru the end of act 3 with 5 stacks of NV - Picked up a shit ton of rares and my first legendary. My DH is kitted up crazy now as Azmodan in Hell was easier than in Nightmare. On to A4...

 

Everything you do (skills) and everything you wear (gears), will have to be changed once you get to 2nd half of act 1 inferno.

You will see. So don't waste any gold right now. you will need them later

No way around it.

I usually just use 2 of the 3 must have stats to search, and go through them to see if i can get lucky to find the other stats and some more.

I usually search with no results when i search with 3 stats and the desire # on the stats within my budget. I know they exist but i just dont wanna remind myself how poor i am compare to others.

 

I guess it all varies by different users. Whenever I roll a new character, I read some of those guides and stuff to try them out before I get to inferno. And I normally get all the items ready before I hit 60, so once I get up to 60, I'm pretty much geared up.

As soon as my DH hit lvl 60, he was geared up enough to go through act 2 inferno.

Good to know - i had some good rare pickups i'm going to try and sell and hoard my gold until I need it. Normally I wait until i'm getting killed a lot before updating.

 

Finally upgrade my barb weapon. It's the left sword. Paid 9 mil gold for it.

So excited. I'm changing my build to sword and shield tanky build, so I can't wait to play him tonight.

 

Was almost done killing Azmodan in inferno with my Barb... got him down to 30% hp then my computer popped a bluescreen... had 5 stack too...

Good news is that I'm 99% done with Act 3 inferno! Only had to skip the tremor rare pack in the keep lvl 3. They are just wtf.

My barb still has some crappy slot items. I think my boots has like little dex/int/vit/fr/ar... It's just some random stuff that I had on him from the beginning and forgot about it til yesterday. When I bought my sword from this other barb guy, he was like "why are you wearing that shoes...? just curious"

Should be fun once I upgrade some other items! Right now, it's pretty balanced with just enough hp/dmg/res/armor/block%. Didn't really go for one single stat like stacking crit/loh/attack speed or anything.

Anyway, barbs are fun to play!

And I have some meh to decent stuff to give away to AZiners. I'm really getting lazy on selling stuff on the forum and AH unless the item is godly. Just msg me tonight.

 

found a godly Ammy in just 10 min of farming Act III thanks to JS lol

bought these for 4mil again.. haha i'm addicted to this now.. i don't farm any more.. maybe because i'm pretty much geared up.

 

I thought I failed that gamble above... because pretty much everything was crap... except for that lvl 61 ring that just sold for 7 mil...

People are so dumb. It was a simple double crit ring like 3% crit chance and 20% crit dmg with 20 poison res...... I would never pay that amount for a ring that has stats like that.

But yeah, gamble was a success! lol

Almost done with Act 4.

I was right at the Izual fight and had to come to work.

I'm gonna kill the Diablo tonight, finally.

Once I do that, I'm gonna kill him with wife's monk. Yeeeeaaaa

Haven't really played Act 1 and Act 2 for a long time. haha no more farming.

My strategy worked! Played my wizard as a first character to farm pretty swiftly and easily, and then do the other characters with a lot of gears and gold in the stash! Haven't played my wizard for almost a month now.

And I don't think we need super godly items to finish the inferno. The only thing that I bought for +1 mil was my weapon. Most of the other stuff were under 1 mil and drops from my wizard farming.

very nice JS. lol so i tried out my tank build dh in a2 in a 4 man game...not too bad...i think if i can get a tad more RA or vit i won't die ever. i only died cuz i refused to leave my spot. surrounded by plague, lightning and arcanes...my screen was flashing red. thought i was gonna have a seizure hahah

 

Is that build fun!? How affordable was the set up? I feel like I want to do something different with DH.

 

yea the build isn't bad. its better if u have someone else doing teh damage otherwise it takes a while to kill things. gear wise its not pricey...i spent under 1m so far...i just looked for anything with high vit and Res All. didn't worry about damage cuz you can kill them...just super slow. my dps is like 7.9k lol

Gambled with Unid items again yesterday. Spent 10Mil and made back 4Mil so far. Fail!

 

haha 7.9k per hit though! so with caltrops and gas grenades, you're always doing a portion of your dps every second. the mobs don't die as slow as you'd think. if i can, let's try to get a game tonight and i'll show you what i mean. lolol oh and i use Loaded for Bear as my hatred spender. 290% at point of impact, plus grenade damage

im not that familiar with DH yet so don't know what you are talking about!

the skills that i've been using are ss/preparation/that bird gives me hatred regen/marking for more dmg/primary skill that goes through with 70% dmg/frost arrow

omg don't buy UnID'd items anymore. there's an exploit that lets you knwo the exact props it has without ID'ing...it's no longer a gamble. people will just sell you their shitty stuff...I'M TALKING TO YOU JS!

its not a gamble if people know exactly what's going to be on the UnID'd item. don't buy anymore JS...you're going to get screwed over. it's going ot be all crap. not only can they figure out how many props it has, you can find out the exact range of stats of the properties. so they'll know beforehand whether or not it has LoH and what value it'll range from and other shit.

oh that picture was from the seller. i just snagged the pic to post it here. i bought the left one for 9 mil and the seller was asking me to pay about 5 mil on that.

The right one is actually pretty crappy tho. I wouldn't pay a dime on that because it's slow with 1.20 aps with meh stats.

I wanted to make my barb pretty balanced. So that 110 dex was pretty big to my build. I was trying to get my dodge percentage to 20%, it's like 18.5% right now and I see a lot of "dodged" marks in the fight. And the +220 str makes this weapon basically +1k dps weapon with some cute stats like +135 LOH and lifesteal. Now with my barb set up, the weapon is like the least priority to upgrade. That's really good enough to comfortable farm act 3.
