Will do. I was just way too impatient the first few times around. In many cases I'm probably just aiming for someone way too far. Need to pick my targets better.

I just get paranoid that somebody is going to see my red triangle on their radar or another sniper is going to spot my scope glinting.

I know, I had to eat my words on this one. The only Battlefield I actually had time with was BC2. Neither COD or BF are really realistic.... using a defibrillator to bring someone back to life after they get blown up by a rocket launcher is silly.

But you try getting torched right in the face and see if you live

 

He you can use the repair tool to damage vehicles, think of it as instead of fixiń you're taking apart.

As for killing people, it is a blow torch you're using, you could actually kill someone with it.....

 

Takes forever to kill the vehicle with it. I tried it on the other team's mobile AA and the guy jumped out to kill me while I was doing it. So, I jumped right in and shot him with it, then was just sitting in front of his base shooting down all their aircraft until a tank came and got me

 

Yeah, I knew about that. It took forever though so I was like screw it. Friend said he disabled a tank that way.... when I tried it, the pilot noticed, jumped out and killed me

that's a great idea. Instead of torching it and waiting to shoot the guy(s) that come out, I should just take their vehicle if I can.

and speaking of which, some guy in a game trolled us hard. He was on our team, spawning as US IIRC on Op. Firestorm, conquest. He stayed in the base defense AA gun and shot all the helicopters and jets as they spawned so nobody could use them.

I tried using the EOD to kill people.... terrible with it, btw. It generally goes unnoticed by people in tanks it seems, but it can't get over the smallest piece of debris and it's fuggin hard to maneuver.

 

I was curious so I found out about this too. I'm still a Battlefield noob so this is all new (and hilarious) to me.

The Russian accent gets me every time. I love how he insults whoever you're reviving.... or maybe DICE is giving you a hint to use the defib to kill. Watched a couple of defib kill vids, seems like you gotta hit them twice. But from now on if I see an oblivious recon or someone capturing a point I'm going to try and use the defib or repair tool to kill them

 

Really wish they would put out a patch or something for that. It really should be a one hit kill from behind just like the knife,And maybe make it somewhat cinematic like how knife kills are. Anyone know if there has been any talk about possibly doing that?

 

Tried out squad DM, think I like it more than team DM. But on Operation Metro the IRNV scope is like a necessity.... I thought it was too cheap before but I was much better with it afterwards.

Kind of annoying though, as everyone else is just hiding in bushes or behind trees doing the same thing.

I'm thinking it's a balance issue. The knife one hit kill is quiet but there's an uninterruptable animation that leaves you vulnerable. And you can get killed before you knife them. If the defib was a 1-hitter who would knife?

 

what kinda ranking are you guys? i just hit staff sergeant 1 star on the pc..

It seems they've banned some hackers. Last time I checked the highest ranked guy has a score so high it trailed over to the other stats.

 

^Jeebus that guy has a 13:1 K/D ratio. Must have a group of like 3 assaults following him around rezzing him and each other all the time

I'm rank 25, grown to like burst guns a lot coupled with the heavy barrel (initially hated it). I normally aim for center mass and I've gotten a lot more headshots it seems.



so wait a minute.... the update on PC still doesn't allow you to configure your kits unless you're in a server? a minor but obvious omission. Also wish they'd have unranked servers where you can practice flying, sniping, etc.

 

I just hit 26 last night and unlocked the MAV:

It came out in July 2010, 17 months ago and was suppose to be a trilogy type game, one game, one race. Is that what's happening? Because all I see is "Wings of Liberty" nothing else.

As MW2 was approaching I started trolling when playing COD4. When I was OpFor I would only kill people (and myself) with C4, sneak up behind someone, cook a grenade and not let go or use RPGs only martyrdom was a necessity of course (or like 10 year olds like to call it, Marty-dumb)
