Is there any good platoons on PS3?

I've look around but there aren't any good platoons.

 

So I got a Madcatz Cyborg X joystick for Christmas and Dice didn't even impliment correct joystick support. The game doesn't recognize it at all. Awesome. Some people got it working online so I'll have to figure it out.

I'm on frequently now (until January when school starts back up). So frustrating finding either a gunner or a pilot for a chopper who doesn't suck royally. I freakin' love flying (or being the gunner) in the choppers. Tanks are fun as well. This game is ridiculously addicting.

 

Buzz3569.....I've become quite the pilot and alway's been a gunner.

 

Alright, no joke this time. The KH2002 is one of the best assault guns out there. Easy, early unlock in Co-op. Even a better burst gun than the M16.

Yea I saw this in the BF blog website.

Pretty awesome, one reason why I wanted to get it for PC 32v32..

 

I can't imagine how the hell they coordinated that.

 

It has its ups and downs, depends on the server I guess. People in vehicles will either dominate or get absolutely smashed on, it seems. There will be more people to either lock-on to you..... or more people that don't use stingers/RPGs/javelins at all.

That's the good and the bad. The ugly is 32v32 on a tighter map like Op. Metro.

I still maintain that the KH2002 is a gun worth working for. It's like an M16, but with better sights and a longer reload. The front posts on the M16 appearing on the red dot/holo sights bugs me.... I know it's true-to-life and all but still

 

It's good. I haven't used the an94 yet but the kh has less recoil than the m16 and puts people down pretty easily

And I LOVE op metro with 64 people. Super easy assault and support points

ah, to each his own. I don't like the tug of war-feel, it's too narrow... too hard to flank people. I will say I like Op Metro with no RPGs/grenades/grenade launchers. Or even with just 32 people

And then a direct hit to a tank is like I threw a rock at it...

I understand they were overpowered in the beta with 1 hit kills, but c'mon this is pathetic.

At least 1 hit disable for tank and 1 hit kill for a jeep...

 

Javelin + soflam = awesome

 

too bad not everyone uses it.

 

so a guided missle hit to a tank does 36 dmg... That's how much I assisted in a tank kill

 

i need to try the soflam and the tanks guided shells.

Now that I've played a bit, gotten used to using a controller and not a mouse, I'm doing fairly well in this game.

I usually only play TDM. And I find myself rushing with the SV98. People don't know what to do when you are good and can play close combat with a sniper rifle. I've been maintaining a 5:1 K lately. I know I know, this game is teamwork and points, not kd, that's just my counterstrike side coming out from the days of old. Lol

Other then that all I ever use is the a91. I seriously use two guns for 95% of my playing.

 

AS VAL is beast

 

I like using the M40A5 with ACOG + silencer and straight pull bolt.

I'd use it w/o the silencer cause the bullet drop isn't as bad, but I like being sneaky sneaky.


I can't wait to use the M98B with the iron sights

 

eh op metro with 64 players always winds up to being a m320 battle, usually at the stairs at B.

For point farming it's great, but it's not a lot of fun.


For op metro, DAO (or any shotgun, really) for those who like shot guns, AEK for those who like rifles. Those two guns are beasts in that map specifically.

 

Famas is my new favorite gun.

been sniping lately (not going well) I'm trying for distance though. My fav sniper spot is in the gulf of omen on top of the crane, you can get a clear shot at where the enemies spawn (also good for soflam) and gives you a nice perspective of basically the whole map. Pisses me off though, I'll get one hit from FAR but cant finish the guy off.

 

meh, i never snipe from the usual spots, i use the MAV to get to new spots to snipe

 

and i snipe with the iron sights

 

Just unlocked the 44 mag ..loving it.love getting up behind the camping snipers and then point blank execution

 

OMG! Me too! I just unlocked it and actually find myself using it more then the SV98 I'm carrying! It's powerful as shit but has really poor distance. It's great for sniping tho, if you rush snipe, because you can do a 50% dmg hit with your rifle then a quick pop to finish them off.

And I agree with the above, the FAMAS is a beast.

 

Goodbye SV98 hellooo M40A5..I've been finding it pretty effective on TDM especially with the quicker reload time

i was really hoping the M98B would be 1 hit kills but its not

 

Ok so I felt the urge to post because last night pissed me off so bad I damn near threw my controller out the window.

You guys ever been on a server where there is a squad of friends, all recon, that fly the MAVs around and get kills with them? OMG! I died a dozen or so times last night 2 maps in a row because there was 5 of them flying around and owning everyone. LOL!! Damn I was pissed!

It should either be 1) easier to destroy or 2) you can't get kills with it.

Maybe you need to learn how to aim? I shoot them down all the time with my pistol.

Also you can lock into them w/ a stinger (iirc) and a javelin.

 

Have you tried running someone over with the MAV? It's incredibly hard, unless they're standing perfectly still or running in a straight line for an unnecessarily long amount of time.

IIRC the MAV gets one-shotted by all the sniper rifles.

Getting killed by them does happen to me but it's far and few....I make it a point to take those fuckers out.

I've been using the recon lately with soflam or mav and I have yet to get a kill with the mav......I'm used to controling it and spotting but actually roadkilling and hitting a target is beyond difficult!!! I will get one more sooner than later
