lol, the trick to computer cooling is:
Open it up and put a fan right in front of it

It's what I have to do since I have a mid tower.

As a temporary solution I opened up the front case "door" and put a big box fan that I use to cool the room right up to it. It actually lowered the temps quite a bit! Problem was I started sweating.

 

LOL, it's that gamer lifestyle.
Gotta open up that case then OC graphix card and play games with max settings. BOSS

Does anyone on PC have a problem with bust fire "jamming" or simply not firing sometimes? I have a huge issue especially with the KH2002. Sometimes shooting someone nearly point blank doesnt work...as in the gun doesnt even fire.

I have this recorded on fraps and i just point the gun at the guy doing nothing.

I havnt had any problems, but then again i dont use burst fire unleess its my only option. I just use full auto and tap when shooting. And im not currently using the kh2002 cuz im leveling up other guns right now

 

try the kh2002 when you have a chance. I had a roll with it just a few games ago. Sometimes its great but there are definitely a few times where it doesnt respond.

any tips on those heavy MGs? Pechneg and the M60 have ridiculous recoil. They nerfed the MG36 when they modified the initial recoil. That used to be a badass gun. My go to MG is the RPK..that's a pretty good gun now.

For the MG's use a grip or bipod. The m60 used to be SOOOOO OP, but after they nerfed it, it became shit. As you can tell I have the most kills with the m60.

 

let me know it goes lol it can be a pretty dang good gun if they can get the kinks worked out. There were a few times where i was clearing a building and just switched to my 1911 tact because i didnt want to deal with it.

lol the m60 in bc2 was so OP too...it was ridiculous. I havent used it too much at all in bf3 however. M249 was beastly pre-patch it was like an AEK MG it shot so fast.. I used to hate it pre-patch but got used to it. Post patch i havent tried yet, but they seemed to have increased the initial recoil for all belt fed MGs.

 

KH2002 works fine for me.
I like the 1911 as well, but got tired of only 9 shots and started using the m9, 16 shots.
I really enjoyed all the MG's in this game except for the PKP, and IDK why I didn't like it lol. And the increased recoil definitely screwed over all the machine guns, which i think is a good thing.

 

mmm I think if I can control my damn clicking finger and not click super fast it seems to work. The problem comes up when you click too fast the gun doesnt fire, especially when there's someone right in front of you at close range. I just owned pretty well with it just now..but i have to really concentrate on clicking slowly

 

Just got bf3 yesterday...I've been playing mw3 for the past 6 months. So far, very impressed. It's much different than COD, but in a good way. It's tough going from 20-25 wins down to 5-6 each game though...it will take time to get used to lol.

No, I bought it for ps3...no platoon for that? I'm still getting used to everything...it's tough that the other team isn't labeled when you're playing like COD.

I haven't played much lately because I've been so busy. Plus the FAMAS recoil change pissed me off.

 

Is there a setting that's turned off? When I was online yesterday, it was just people running around...my team had blue names, the enemy had nothing above them. Only on the map were there orange arrows but as far as above them, there was zip.

 

^Enemies have to be "spotted" before they show up on the HUD and have labels on the screen.

You can do this by hitting select I think when you can see any enemy.

 

Yep. Enemies are only on screen and on map if

- You spot them manually in your field of view
- Some device is tracking them (MAV, Motion sensor, etc.)
- if they fire an unsuppressed weapon
- if someone else is spotting them manually

PC it's pretty easy you just spam Q on the non hardcore servers. Helps you see dem snipers.

HOLY SHIT! You have to hit select to spot someone!? That sucks! lol, it's in the middle of the controller. You can't even run and spot!
You can't actually spam it, if you do it just won't work for a few seconds and makes a small noise letting you know you're spamming it.

 

I spot all the time on my ps3..

But I don't always run around in the open...

 

PC master race here, can fly a plane or run, strafe, shoot and still spot someone

Yet unsurprisingly, people STILL don't spot often enough.

I've been flying A LOT now in this game, and getting pretty good. When the other team doesn't have jets trying to shoot me down, it's pretty easy to dominate all the enemy vehicles.

A request for anyone on the ground: spot the enemy vehicles. It doesn't take more than half a second, but it's crucial for those in the air. Jet pilots can see vehicles from farther away if they've been spotted by someone else, and this makes a huge difference, especially with taking out their AA

 

Did they make the air to ground missles stronger? Those things hurt tanks like you're throwing a rock at it.

 

2 bursts will take out any vehicle. you have to start from far away to get 2 bursts in, which is why people should spot the vehicles

 

Not in my experience.

It was 2-3 hits to disable and then 4 or so to destroy a tank.

 

Most of the shots have to hit. I do think they made them more powerful, but it was in the patch that came out a while ago
