haha. i suck at halo (barley played the first two). When i play multiplayer, I compete for "not last place"

but i still think its fun.

 

There are games I've done great, and others where I had my a$$ handed to me on a silver platter.

The point is to have fun.

Last night we were playing on Live in big groups. Usually in Big Team battle or Rumble Pit, that sorta thing. No Co-Op [yet].

 

I'm in.

 

Tonite lets play all of ourselves, but objective games like CTF or bomb. Not Rumble pit.

I got to the scarab tank this morning before I went to work. It was definitely fun taking it out.

 

I'm on level 9... and I realized that I had forgotten how much I hated the flood... not because they're difficult... just cuz there's shit loads of them - they're just SO annoying...

 

You and me both. I haven't gotten to them in Halo 3 yet, but I remember when I first encountered them in the first Halo. I would get so pissed off because they just kept coming and were just annoying as hell. Then when you thought you killed them with the assault rifle, they would just get back up. But the needler and shotgun would make short work of them.

 

Made it to level 6 last night on Legendary with my friend. I must say, it's easier than Halo 2. We only got stuck twice on two different levels. Other than that, we've just been walking through it... Anyone else think this game is easier than the 2nd? I'm more than sure we'll get stuck on Level 9 with the damn flood. Gosh I hate them!

Yeah that guy with the snipes was laying down some serious pwnage....it wasnt even close till he got started.

 

I had one part where two of them would always spawn with shotguns...if one didnt get me the other would..

 

Has anyone found the last skull. My friends and I are kinda confused as to where to find it.

 

I'm actually finding the game a little harder than Halo 2. It seems to move a little faster, I guess that could be part of the reason, but I think I'm getting the hang of it now.

 

I didn't even know about the skulls until someone online said something. what exactly are they?

 

i heard skulls are sumthing u get during a co-op and u can use them for something havwen't heard 2 much but they hard 2 find on co-op






halo 3 sniping is harder

 

BTW guys we need to play some team rank games...you can go from private to leitenant if you play ranked games because as soon as you get 10 you are one.

^^Yep, I usually don't play a lot online, but last night through this morning I played for about 4 hours straight. It was fun as hell.

 

I found sniping to be easier, in fact I'm a lot better at sniper in Halo 3 than Halo 2.

Oh and Skulls theres one in each level, they unlock things. One skull makes it everytime you get a headshot its says YAY and confetti starts flying around. Find all of them and you unlock cool looking armor.

 

does anyone know a link on where the skulls are? Does it matter if you get them on easy or legendary?

 

Halo 3 ending left me hanging

 

I was replaying game video that was automatically saved last night. However many of the buttons on the control pad were grayed out, and the only thing I could do was pause, take a screen shot or exit. The skip forward/backwards buttons and the record button were disabled. I was trying to get to the part where I got to the two scarab tanks in the hornet, but I didnt want to have to go through the entire movie (over 30 minutes worth) just to get there. Does anyone know why these buttons don't work?

you just have to start from the beginning of the level...

in Halo 2 you had to do it on Legendary

 

Yeah...those buttons are greyed out on campaign. In fact, most of them are grayed out unless you record a clip from multiplayer

^thx. Yeah that is pretty weak. Thing is the only thing I was interested in viewing again was when I was fighting the scarab tanks with the hornet, it sucks that I have to sit through all of the other stuff just to get to that part. Holding down RB does speed up the playback, but not really that much.
