I'll agree with you to a point. I only play the multliplayer game and it just doesn't play like halo 2 did. Not quite sure how to even explain it, but I think it has more to do with the maps.

Nothing but retards online today, probably a direct correlation to the day off. Bunch of kids that are being stupid.

Every single game I played in today had more than one idiot in it that was either betraying their teammates or doing absolutely nothing.

I swear to god Bungie is on my last nerve right now! They truly have built a gaming platform where you can pretty much get away with anything, ruin the credibility and fun of THEIR own game, and IMHO, I don't even feel they give a rats ass because it's been that way from day one.

yeah, I haven't played Halo in over 8 months. I had been playing COD4 since and still play it now, but not as much as I used to since I got all the gold weapons. I'm still on occasionally though.

i got a story for you miz, when i was in college i lived in a 3 story house with 3 other guys. the only bathroom was on the 2nd floor. i had a roomate that lived on the 3rd floor that was so obsessed with halo, i have never seen someone so into a game before. he would get so in to playing, that he would not want to walk down a flight of steps to take a piss, he just pissed in 2 liter bottles in his room...anyway, i used to rag on this kid to no end, ragged on the game just as much.

anyway, a few years later a friend of mine is playing halo 3 every time i'm over his house. i started playing it here and there, now im hooked. a 26 year old man that wants to play halo 3 all day...smh at me! ha

well, you know I had the gamer tag since 2004 or so back in college. Back than it wasn't really a weird thing to do. It was merely a way to get the name you wanted, but now it definitely is not acceptable, nor cool.

With my new name I had this British guy yelling stuff about Americans, he was drunk as all hell. I was just laughing and eventually he says "Time Lord do you like British people?" I started crying laughing, because in case you didn't know Time Lord is an obvious reference to "Dr. Who," The longest running sci-fi show in history and the most popular British show. Definitely very drunk.

I've been trying to play again, but it isn't really working out, COD kind of turned me from it, that and this mythic map release only for halo wars owners pisses me off. But what's your gamertag ^^^^ put it in bold can't really be sure where it ends and begins.

So yesterday i partied up with my buddy as a guest and decided to go get my ass kicke din halo because i hadnt been online in a good while.

We ended up in high grounds on the side of the base.

i jumped on a mongoose, rode over to the sniper cove and the gun was already taken. i waited on my buddies to head towards the beach and clear out all the guys but one....the dude holding the sniper.

I approached the sniper with my Pistol and he paniced and tried to no scope me

Got me once, but by then i was close enough for a melee attack.

Stole the sniper rifle and made my way up into the trees. Sat there for the game and kept peeling guys off one by one as they attempted to figure out where i was.

everytime someone would peep their heads BAM. it was blown off.

Ended the game with no deaths and only using the sniper rifle and pistol.

One time I thought I heard some kid call me out say; "I bet he is probably going to be garbage", so I put my mic on and say "Oh we'll see about that." Then he replied, "Oh, sorry I didn't say anything bad, you must of misheard me."

I got 35 kills and died twice, and the best part was at the end he said, "It's a good thing I didn't really mean that or I would've had my foot in my mouth."



Another classic experience was when some kid had 24 out of 25 points in rumble pit and I was in 2nd place with 22 and I got a quick double kill right, and then I managed to kill him for 25 to win, I heard this loud whelp from his mic go; "Nooooooooooooooo."

 

^awesoMe. the best thing is that i sucked at halo for the longest. my buddies would come over as guests and kick my ass in my own house. now i can almost hang with them. not saying im great, but i dont make stupid moves liek grenade spamming and following the crowd into a sword room.

On Saturday or Sunday, I can't remember which day, I got my first killimanjaro in a Living Death game.

 

Nice, I haven't even gotten an overkill on my II No Regret II account yet.

 

To a certain extent, it's really just luck. Being at the right place, at the right time to get kill after kill after kill.

The highest I've gotten so far is a killtastrophe, but I don't count it for much because it was in a grifball game.

for my Killimanjaro, I just happened to be at a point where guys were coming at me from both sides and alternating in distance so i could go back and force (to a certain extent), and they didn't have shields.

 

I wasn't great at halo 3 in the first place, and after not playing for ages, I am sure that I'm even worse! Although I could get back into it...

 

Those medals you got all in one game is sick. Halo is a pretty addicting games once you started. It is the only game i play now beside nba 2k9

 

Good game. I absolutely suck at sniping.

I just got back into playing after laying off for 6 or 7 months. Is it me, or have people at my rank gotten so much better? Almost want to get a new account.
