Xbox's Shane Kim talks Halo 3, launch afterthoughts, etc.

Next-Gen's Colin Campbell caught up with Microsoft's Shane Kim at DICE, which is funny because Campbell also caught up with me at DICE and I thought I had some interesting things to say, and where's the feature about me?
Maybe next year, but for now there's lots of tidbits to be gleaned from Mister Kim, including this part where he says there's no Halo 3, wink wink nudge nudge:

Is it coming out this year?
It depends. If it's the game that everyone is expecting then, yes. For us it's about making a proper impact on the platform. It has to be something with huge significance, so we won't be rushed.
He also mentions Too Human in the same breath as Gears of War, which gets me so excited.

Bungie took forever to release Halo 2. They postponed it's release I think twice. And they've always stood by "We aren't going to release the game if it's not done right" philosophy.
so if they run into snafu's then they'll keep pushing the date back no matter how many whining 360 owners there are that want the game right away.

I can say the same silly thing about PS3 how the only good game that will appear is GT5
and look how Halo 2 turned out. I miss playing that game

FN3 =port
DOA4 = doa3 with better graphics
PGR3 = pgr2 with better graphics
BF2 = port
Oblivion = PC game with different story.
notice a trend? I certainly do. All the games comming out on the 360 are nearly identical to previous generation games, with better graphics.
That's why nothing is wowing me yet. They are all games I've played before, but they look better. That's it.

I know this is going to be a kind of dead ? but........ Please tell me at least one of you guys on here has some info about halo3? Everywhere on the net they are saying it is a big ? as to if Bungie is even still working on it. So someone please do whatever it takes to get me some hard evidence. I know there are some hackers out there so get to work

halo 2 took at least 1 1/2 years to fully develop if I'm not mistaken. And they postponed that one a couple times too because they felt it wasn't ready.
In the end I don't care about waiting as long as it's done right.

No news yet.. I'm sure it will be revelaed at the E3 event in May. It is definitely in production but I'd guess for a holiday 2006 or Summer 2007 release (to go along with the Halo movie)

And bungie has always taken the safe, conservative route when it comes to developing their games. And if that means making customer's angry because they want to further develop the game they will. Because a few angry customer can be tamed with a better game anyways.

It seems Mr Moore has today revealed that the legendary Master Chief will be appearing at E3 to show off the latest game in the Halo series. Of course nothing is known about what will be shown; whether it will be CGI or in game footage, but rest assured it will be one of the biggest highlights of this years E3.
Moore stated the following: “Expect to see the first footage from the next instalment of Halo at E3, which might shift some focus away from the competition. The game won't hit stores until 2007, however.”
It also looks like the new Forza Motorsport 2 may also make an appearance, news which will no doubt please the racing world. Like Halo 3 not much is known about the content which Forza will be taking to E3, but I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the slickest racing games to hit a console thus far.

Mabee he was refering to the LIBRARY, god I hate that place. They had something equivelant to it in h2 aswell.
Not to mention in Halso half way through, you went and backtracked your steps through all the levels.
