They arent? I thought i read in XBMagazine that they would be.

 

No idea yet. Probably gonna want to do a lot of both actually. I like playing team games the most. I wasn't bad at playing single, I just liked the team aspect, chatting with friends and all. Those were the fun times.

Can't wait till we start the AcuraZine clan for Halo 3.

 

I hope they do. My friends couldn't always come over so playing co-op over the internet would be awesome.

HALO 3 DOES have on-line co-op...not just 2 player...but 4 PLAYER!!!! should be incredible...first game to make that happen. Bungie developers said this was a very hard feature to implement

Wow i can't wait... do any of you guys have stores opening @ midnight to sell the game?? or are most of you guys picking it up after work?

 

The place I pre-ordered mine was the same place I purchased Halo 2. When they released Halo 2, they had a midnight release and one of the LA Radio stations was there (don't remember which now). I got the game, went home and started playing.

I'm sure this one will be the same. I need to call them to find out.

 

I am getting mine at 12:01 Am from a local gamestop. Took the 25th off from work as well.

yeah i did the samething with Halo 2, picked it up from EB Games and went home and played, man was I tired at work the next day.

Finished the first 3 levels. The brute chopper is by far the most fun new thing. Only weapon I've gotten so far that wasn't in the beta is the gravity hammer. I think there's a lot more ahead tho.

Holy crap... Covenant Scarab! I'm at the flood now. It seems shorter than H2. Still don't have much time to play, but enjoying it immensely. Too bad they're blocking matchmaking until release day.

I'll try not to do any spoilers. I never liked them myself. And seeing as everyone on the planet who cares about games is going to play this one, you'll all find out.

 

Dammit, I still have not gotten my Xbox back. They shipped it weds., and its friday night. They called me to tell me that Monday at 6:30 they are having a Halo 2 competition and then at midnight the sale starts.

 

Hmm, I may go to midnight madness. But it depends I have classes early on Tuesday. But yea can't wait. If anyone wants to play on tuesday hit me up with a friend request on Live, I'm Enraged Manatee.

 

I got Halo3 this afternoon from a store in Manhattan that broke the do not sell date. Overall, I'm loving the game. It feels very much like the original Halo but with just more of everything - enemies, weapons, equipment, etc...

I haven't been able to play MP yet because the matchmaking isn't up until Monday, but overall it's a great game.

 

Man, its Sunday and no Xbox360 yet. Weds, they said they shipped it. I hope I get it by Monday or Tuesday when I get home from work. I am not sure I will do the whole midnight thing, I might have to go on luch Tuesday or after work. They better not give out my fully paid Legendary copy!!!

In my local gamestop, they have a Subway next to it and Hooters right in front. They say Subway will be open all night for the munchies and the Hooter girls will be there too.

 

^I heard that it's every Hooters girl dream to marry a gamer.

 

My friend got a bootleg, said it's got great graphics but just about the same as the first and second halos...

 

So for those that have it, does it live up to the hype or is it just Halo 2.5?
