did you use a canned program, or work with a tuner?

Seriously, hit up Gernby on s2ki. You can send him the datalogs and he can send you an optimized tune.

Got a set of Proxes 4 for the car today. Love the tires, not a fan of the steering 'delay'. Apparently the camber was set to be a bit aggressive by the previous owner and the shop set it back to stock. Hmmm.

USDM setting or Euro?

The Euro spec is prety ideal if you are planning on doing any aggressive driving. A bit more neg camber, slight toe, and close to max caster.

USDM setting. The handling is still fine, the steering is a bit lighter.

I may get an alignment soon. Going to get max front caster, lower the toe a bit in the rear since it wears tires too quickly, and raise the camber to 1-1.5 deg. in the front.

Didn't read this until after I posted. Not sure what the Euro specs are, but these are the generally accepted settings for alignment

Euro camber settings have been dialed in.

Much much better...

I've put 6100 miles on the car since I bought it in late April

Ken, glad you are enjoying the S. I will hit 3 years in Dec and will turn 20K miles this week.
Amazing that this 15 year old technology still holds its own.

Got a test pipe and J's racing 60rs titanium single exhaust for dirt cheap. Amazingly light. Sounds great, no drone. Just loud enough when you need it. Can still talk to my passenger without yelling haha. Test pipe smell is new to me. Was either the 60rs or an HKS hi power dual. Not regretting it so far.

Some people in the UK have been welding in a 1-1.5" stainless bypass pipe in the exhaust. It's cheap and seems like it sounds good, so I'm gonna have it done and see how it sounds.

Working on that sound clip. Didn't realize how bad gopro's are for capturing sound.

Installed a CR radio door and some 3m CF vinyl to the center console. Looks better without the flash haha... Lotta tips and tricks I've got if anyone ever wants to do this.

Looks more like this in natural light.

S2000 prices on the rise? I got bored and curious this morning so did a quick search. Prices at dealers seem REALLY high. $25k for an '06 with 40k miles?!? $23k for a '05 with 30k miles?

I didn't pay anywhere near that much.

KBB is stating $20k for my 2002 with only 25.5k miles.
Edmunds is stating $10k for the same.

I don't get these appraisal sites, they are so inaccurate or at least widely varying.

I told you you'd be back, mrsteve.

Virginia thinks my 04 with 34k is worth about 8 grand, which means I don't pay much for the state property tax

I want one too, but the prices for a clean AP2 is what steered me towards the FRS

VA doesnt make any sense. They say my 03 CL with 161k miles is worth the same. Idiots.

Not a bad price, and with the OEM AP2 lip, another nice add on.

If the car is in great shape it might be worth it. Especially with 1.5 years on the bumper to bumper extended for the CPO.

Gotta make sure it will fit in the garage first. I have a 1 car garage and while we don't park cars in it now there is stuff in it (work bench, shelving, fridge/freezer). I know it will fit but it might take up all usable space...
