Kelly Blue Book rates it at 22500 from a dealership. If you pay any more than that your getting ripped.

FWIW, I paid $18,250 for an '06 with 25k miles a year ago. Mine was a 1 owner with a minor collision on the Carfax (new front bumper).

Man, after one day I'm in love with this car. It's seriously perfect. Just gotta get some seat locks (kodokan) and upgrade the old alpine head unit that's in there to a newer one

I had the opportunity to autocross an AP1 a few weeks ago. The owner placed 2nd :silvercup at this years SCCA Solo nationals in an S2000 CR (not his car). I've been autocrossing in my local car club the last four years but have only done so in my stock 07 Civic Si.

Driving the S2k was pure bliss. It was really easy to learn how to push it and much more forgiving than I ever anticipated. 245 width tires all around, worn out tires in the front and an aftermarket front sway bar probably helped me out.

I'm not sure if I can go back to racing my civic anymore

. It use to be fun until the S2000 redefined what fun really is.

Had my heart dead set on a gorgeous low-mileage Laguna Blue S2k, had financing and insurance lined up ... then I ran the Carfax report.

Salvage.

I feel like someone just told me my dog is actually a cat. Or, something. Disappointment, etc etc. Going to stew in a corner for a bit.

i haz s2k.

so i took it for a spin top down through the nearby downtown area at night, and at a red light some drunk girl outside a bar points, screams "my birthday presenntt," stumbles over, and flops headfirst over the passenger door.

her bf (i think) comes running to drag her away. and that's just day 1.
