Ken...just curious how those seats are on a long trip? I don't get much of a long-term check moving them at work but they seem to be quite firm.

They're very firm, my lower back is a bit sore. And they're a bit too narrow for me in the shoulders. I might need to do something about it. Gotta check my options.

The ride isnt harsh at all.

De-smurf?

The '06 has a black dash and black door panels

It looks MUCH better (IMO) than the previous years.

Dealer

Just over $23,000 including a 3 year warranty. Considering the pristine condition and its service history, I feel its a VERY fair price. Paperwork took less than 10 minutes

For road conditions I'd agree. It's very compliant with very little lean. I'd be worried about bump oversteer if it were any stiffer.

Nice Suzuka. Great car.

You can get any aftermarket racing seat that fits you.
I got the Backyard Special lowered seatrail and it drops the seat bottom about an inch (helped me fit better with a helmet and better visibility over/under the top of the windshield), but the back stays same height, so you hit the back a bit lower (might solve the shoulder issue)

DEFINITELY. It makes all the difference to me. I'm also glad they used a darker blue for the carpeting and seats. Quite surprised they didn't figure that out sooner... but then maybe not. Honda confuses me at times.

I'm going to get this thing dyno tested eventually.. I removed the top half of the airbox, it growls

According to Temple of VTEC and others, the AP2's put down around 240whp. Thats just incredible..

240Whp? You sure? I thought they were rated at that but wheel HP wasn't even close. Maybe I am mistaken

It's higher on a dynapack. On a dynojet, it's gonna be around 200 whp

Yep, it was on a dynapack.

AP1 vs AP2

Hell, in the comments section I'm chattering away on there in late 2003, I've been wanting one of these for a while now..

What? You didn't consider a BR-Z?

Beautiful pickup and definitely a fair deal. Congratulations. Hopefully I'm only a year or two behind you.

don't do that. It sounds nice but it has been proven for years that you lose power if you drive with the lid off.

Also AP2 stock is around 210 whp. Ap1 is around 200. but it doesn't matter because they all feel slow because of lack of torque.
