Oh snap! Good work, that's exactly the one I was talking about. It's also on Euclid, by the 91 freeway. Car is CLEAN Ken.

It's my day off tomorrow. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

I went to that dealer when I was looking for mine. I'd be careful -- they had a bunch of S2ks in various states of (dis)repair, and their online reviews have been amusingly bad.

Yeah, I can somewhat see why. They havent called me back ever. I've left three total messages and no one answers the phone. Do they want to do business or not?

I'd rather pay a bit extra and just hire a broker.

How about using Shoofin? I'm sure he can hook you up. Of course, I don't know how much that would cost, but since you bring up using a broker....

I need to run by storage today and look at my S2000. Man, do I miss it. I so desperately want to shift. My right hand is twitchy after looking at this thread.

+1

Dealer seemed to have a lot of Acura TLs and TSXs about a year ago when I was helping someone find one. They kept coming up in my searches due to low mileage and/or good prices. After running a Carfax or Autocheck on the cars, almost all of them came from other states and had been in an accident(s).

Never bothered with that dealer.

I'd be cautious about buying from them.

I've got my father-in-law on it. He goes to auctions quite frequently, so I'll just tag along until I find one

You have to feel a bit of remorse having it locked up in storage, dont you? I mean, with all that snow its not like you could drive it anyway.

But, its nearly 60* and sunny down here. You could send your S2k down to me and Ill look after her, no storage fees required

Post says he's putting stock suspension back on before selling. And I don't know what his price range is, but something has got to give if you want one for cheap

whatsup S owners!

So during the warmer Calo weather, I haven't been experiencing the squeaks/creeks too much, but now that its becoming cooler with dew in the morning and night, or even after washing my car... the rear develops an annoying creek over bumps and pulling into driveways

I've already greased the swaybar bushings but that didn't help
it has coilovers that are only a couple months old so that can't be it
tightened the diff collars..
could it be the diff collars?
any ideas, postulation, hypothesis or theories will be appreciated

Heres a vid with it present at 0:06, 0:10, 0:32, 0:50

Since it's a matter of finding the right car, it's just a matter of time. Meanwhile I've bought a car cover, seat locks and wheel locks. Now.. tires.

I need something with all season capability. Any recommendations? Tire Rack guided me to these:

She did, my garage can only handle so many cars though.

And I've been itching for a roadster for 10 years.

Tell her if she wants a cool NSX to drive she has to put the CR-Z outside

Hey she is the one that gave approval. Since she can drive stick as well you can tell her it is a sacrifice for both of your enjoyment. You just have to positively spin it

Get actual winter tires. All seasons are mediocre everywhere. It is much better if you can spend a bit of extra money and have winter and summer wheels/tires.

My problem is I live in Oregon. I need something that can handle wet weather. So if you know of a summer/performance tire that can handle the rain, I'd appreciate it.

I do not need winter tires.

The TSX wagon has dedicated snow tires if needed.

Conti DWS? They do have a rather soft sidewall but I hear great things about them and have some experience with them on my brothers Accord.

I also love my Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110, theyre a dedicated summer tire however.

The Conti DW is a good all season with a bit more grip. The V12 is a nice Summer tire, the Hankook RS3 is a great summer tire.

If you can do 2 set of wheels/tires, for the wet and dry seaasons, you will appreciate the car more.

Unfortunately it just isn't realistic for me to do that. I COULD buy a set of performance tires for track days

Otherwise I just need something that can handle the three traditional seasons.

A friend leaves his S2K at my place for the winter. This is it's fourth winter here. Each time I look at it I become more enamored with it. I just wish I could sit in the darn things.

Unfortunately, yes. At nearly 6'5" I have to contort my body into the cockpit. Once in the steering wheel rubs against my legs and I can't move.
