My coworker is trying to lease out a Audi A6. This is the quote she got from the local Audi. Is this pretty good?

Here's the info. on the vehicle we just spoke about:

Model Year: 2014
Model: 4G25MA A6 2.0T QUATTRO TIPTRONIC
Exterior Color: W1W1 MOONLIGHT BLUE METALLIC
Interior Color: KP VELVET BEIGE
Options: 3Y5 POWER REAR WINDOW / MANUAL SIDE SUN SHADES
6W3 FRONT LICENSE PLATE - HOLDER
7TL INLAY - FINE GRAIN ASH NATURAL
9ZW AUDI CONNECT
A6N CARGO NET
AFA AUDI FIRST AID KIT
AMI IPOD CABLE FOR AUDI MUSIC INTERFACE - NO CHARGE
PCH AUDI SIDE ASSIST/ PRE SENSE REAR/ POWER MIRRORS
WL3 AUDI GUARD WHEEL LOCKS
WPS PREMIUM PLUS PACKAGE
Estimated Total MSRP $52,275

Based on a selling price of $48,073.41 (-$1,500.00 below Invoice), here's the lease figures:

For a 36 months lease with AFS, with 12k/yr, with $109.56 total out of your pocket + $1,500.00 rebate from Audi (you or anyone in your household must currently own a 2001 or newer BMW, Lexus or Mercedes-Benz and will need proof: either a copy of your current DMV registration card and/or a current auto insurance id card) + $300.00 rebate from Audi because this vehicle has the Audi Side Assist, your payments come to $613.05/month including LA County Sales Tax of 9.00%, based on approved credit, based on a fico of 700+ and based on a residual of 56% ($29,274.00).

I think she can get a 528 for similar or less $ but more powerful. She doesn't like BMW?

assuming she is qualified for all those rebates and incentives, with $110 Out of pocket, $613 with tax included is pretty good, considering most of the A4 are in the mid $500 range with no down.

Or is it $110 + registration fee and other craps?

She only likes Audi.

The deal will be $109.56 total drive off + $613 monthly. Pretty good huh?

That surprises you? The rule of thumb is that pretty much all the mid-engine Ferraris hold their value and for the "flagship" models, they INCREASE in value.

So, look for the Poopdick McFartington to cost more than a small city in a few years.

"Attainable" Ferraris are any of their front-engine models...those usually go down quite a bit in value.

Speaking of the Ferrari...we talk about 1/18 models in the Car Model thread in Ramblings but here's BBR's rendition of the Poopdick. Not the real thing but for those like me who can never come close to touching one......

More pics and if you want to buy it for $499: http://www.racelinemodels.com/produc...ited-30-pieces

I would want it in red but there's also a very unique Tour de France Blue of the Poopdick McFartington as well...

I believe you mean the special editions & halo Ferraris.

360s & F430 values have dropped significantly since the introduction of the 458 & it will likely drop when its successor arrives. The only mid-engine Ferrari outside the halo cars I have seen actually start to increase has been the Testarossas. The Dino & 308/328/355 values are still relatively affordable.

They've been climbing in years, though the color is what drives that one to $2.6 million. Average is closer to $2 million.

as confirmed by Rick, that one in particular is a good deal higher cost due to its color. so yes it is a bit surprising on that one.

(and I felt similarly when I saw the cost on that one)

Dinos are $300-400K now for good ones. They haven't been affordable for a while sadly.

I like the design, quite a bit, but sad to see the 6MT gone.

wow though - the fact that they posed for that picture above in that same manner - I don't think they can be any more suggestive that this is the new Supra!!!

The rear and front valence are hideous imo. I know that's just a concept / prototype, but where are the tailpipes? C&R's spy photos indicate it's a dual exhaust, but my fear is it's going to be faux cutout tips for aesthetics. Anyways, it looks nice otherwise, it's what the 4G should have been, but doesn't bring anything new or exciting to the market. Removing the 6MT from the line is going in the wrong direction. Just a makeover in my book.

Still, I think it's a nice improvement (the TL). Given what the competition is unveiling so far though, not mind-blowing relatively speaking...

I wonder how much they'll dumb it down for production

It looks great though! A bit disappointed that a manual gearbox isn't available, but I'm not surprised.

Well, let's hope it is not along the same extremes as the Mugen Legend Max. Then again, that car was Honda showing us how much they hated us.

But, seriousness, the Honda fan in me is lamenting that the new TLX, while nice, is not making me pick it over say, a 3-Series or A4...

I still maintain (did I even mention it on this forum ) that the car in the spy photos was simply a 4G with body cladding that was testing the drivetrain.

It's supposed to be the prototype for the 2015 model, and this is really close to when the 2015 would theoretically go on sale (by 9-10 months). The body, save for the side view mirrors, looks production ready, and the press release was highly detailed for a prototype model.

I need to see if/when a Type S model is coming. I honestly love the exterior design of the TLX. In response to "here's hoping there is a 400hp variant coming"; there was a passing comment from one individual (that tends to be right more than wrong) on VTEC.net that simply said "there will be, but not at launch" (he specifically quoted the 400hp comement in his response). It could be BS, but would be sweet if they could do it - I suspect, with the assistance of turbos.

400HP FWD sedan...? I dunno...if we do get 400HP "Type S/R/Whatever" trim, let's hope AT LEAST it sticks to AWD?

Honda's "concepts" are usually 95% production-ready. Refer to previous TL and Accord concepts.

I think the TLX looks good as well. But that may be because, considering the 4G TL and the RLX, most people were expecting this to look like a pile of dog shit (even by Acura's standards).

Sucks that there's no 6MT, though. Would've been the perfect car for people wishing for a 3G SH-AWD 6MT, but think the 4G is too big/ugly.

You guys see the TLX race car that was also at Detroit?

It's already been confirmed that this will be powered with a twin-turbo version of the TLX's V6. So 400 hp as a Type-S mid-cycle refresh or something isn't out of the question.

Twin turbo V6 with SH-AWD and 6MT?!?!?

Who am I kidding, I just sound like a forum-specific fanboy. It will never happen.

FTFY.

According to the rules for the GT class, the car will have anywhere between 425 and 525hp.

No kidding...WTFBBQ is up their @$$es for this? And how hard is it to get the market a RWD platform??!?

They will sell! Seriously, they will sell (so long as it does not look like the second coming of the Aztek)...!

I think if the RLX - which isn't really ugly, just boring - were RWD they'd sell a bit more than they are. I'm not saying I'd be in the market for one, because it's not the car for me at this time in my life. But I'm sure they'd be able to steal some sales from ze Germans.

With that said, I'm OK with the TLX being FWD based, so long as SH-AWD is always available in the sportiest variant.
