Ultimately, I think, like any car fan, you just have an itch to try something new and fresh...

However, we aren't all BoostedJacks and so, I think the best way to satisfy your itch is maybe just rent a Mustang V8 for a day or so...drive it like you stole it...and return it.

Just a few bucks but sure is alot cheaper than the $$$$ of a new car and the agony of realizing (probably a day or two later) that you gave up an M3 for a Ford?

You should go test drive the Countryman, CM...You may just end up liking it. The pricepoint isn't horrid either.

Seriously, there is an element of "special" attached to an M3. While I'm sure the new Mustang will be nice enough, there will be TONS of them on the road. You won't be able to drive home from work without seeing a dozen of the things in various iterations.

When we were shopping for her Countryman, the MINI dealership also shares the floor with BMW...

So, I just glanced at the 5er sitting on the showroom floor and she didn't even break pace from her walk to the MINI side: "Don't even think about it..."

So, I had the X5, X6, Volvo XC60 and this to choose from. The X6 is beyond hideous IMO and so, it came down to the X5 and the sea-cucumber. So, sue me, okay?!?

Maybe the new one.. But i definitely don't need the current one with the crappy interior and suspension. Zl1 is where it's at.

I find the X6M to be tolerable.

 

Only because it's crazy fast and causes cognitive dissonance because our minds are conditioned to believe no SUV-ish vehicle should be able to do the things it does. In short, it's an interesting curiosity.

 

That car is REALLY nice though.
