Damn, way much money for a 30 year old Supra but it's in amazing condition. Sold for $19,900: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-TOYOTA-SUPRA-22-496-MILES-ONE-OWNER-5-SPEED-MANUAL-EXCEPTIONAL-CONDITION-/111238265466?ViewItem=&item=111238265466&nma=true&si=asp9wEn1uB5WU66CUy8pvO%252FYHlo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

How about the Cooper Coupe? Is that girly?

Up here, most MINIs are driven by males from what I've seen. Must be different regionally in NA?

I honestly wouldn't care. If the car is a good car, I'd buy it. I've seen women in C6 Z06s, all kinds of 911s, etc ... Doesn't mean I'm not going to own one

Gee I dunno...my one rule is probably the Mazda Miata.

That and any giant Ford/Dodge pick-up trucks.

But, it's cuz I'd probably fall on my face climbing out of one (which I almost did once) and that'd be very embarrassing.

In my defense, the truck in the showroom was lifted as well, so, it was not stock. That first step is a killer.

Nothing more embarrassing than trying to be all macho and manly (although, I think it isn't) in some lifted, huge-@$$ pickup truck...and then, the driver, all extreme and cool in his Ed Hardy tee, Blue-Steel pucker, and whatever else is hiphop cool tries to climb out, instead, falls on his face.

There have GOT to be some good Youtube videos of just this situation.

I'm ashamed to say this, but I kind of like the Sonic. My coworker has an LTZ Turbo model, and its decently equipped and has some good pick up. He averages around 32mpg too. Sure, the interior is a bit "stiff", but it's a decent little car.

Speaking of which, is it just me or whenever there's a woman driving a Z06 or SVT Cobra/Saleen or something similar, they're always hot?

About the Mini, I keep hearing people say that the new models are too soft. I do remember the JCW my sister in law had was amazingly fun to drive... Dunno bout the new ones.

Mini coupe is

Used doesn't bother me, but not at the cost of a new one. Subaru Plano now has a "Request Price", but this BRZ Limited was $27,000+ with 11,800 miles when I looked.

Owner is taking the wheels back, so what am I saving myself besides what appears to be an exhaust? Subaru priced me one new at $29K.

Rumor is that they will increase displacement to 2.5l during the MMC - probably in 2015. No idea if it would be a different trim level though.
Not sure if I want to wait a year. I'm ready to pull the trigger the next instance the TL creates an issue within' 2 months.

Yes, wheels, tires, and taillights from factory are horrendous. I wonder what that blue one is lowered on.

Have you tried that dealer in Colorado? They've been selling below MSRP and shipping to you shouldn't be too much more. They've shipped cars to a lot of forum members and they've all been very happy with their purchase.

Volkswagen announced the MK7 Golf R arrives in Q1 of 2015 with 290HP and Haldex 5.

Further muddying the waters for me

How about the GTD? It's on its way as well.

If I was going to go that route, I'd probably look at an A3 diesel instead. Just a little bit nicer. The R is a fallback if the S3 ends up being $48K.

But I'll be looking at the GS350 (used), the Allroad (used), the S3, the R, and probably a couple others in the $35-40K range.

The rims just look terrible. That will be my first mod. A nice set of lightweight rims with Michelin PSS.

Agreed. New wheels for sure. I'm not a huge fan of those either.
