General Car Talk Discussion Thread
You aren't the least bit interested in what it will look like and what price tag Acura will put on it?
Well for me, I came close to buying a '12 or '13 TL SH-AWD 6MT. And since I had a TSX before that, I'm still interested in what Acura will do.
It may not be as exciting as the other cars listed, but it's still something new!

I've met srika IRL; no accent.
And it's above the freezing mark today.

I'm practically in shorts.

Gonna drive around in my sea creature with all the windows and sunroof open.
I don't know; it really depends. The STi and Evo are much more raw, and the R blows them both away interior and comfort-wise.
I also looked at the Golf R while cross-shopping the STi, and yes, it was a bit harder to justify $35k for the R, but with the tuning and mod capabilities, I'm sure I'd love a 300AWHP Golf R.
Damn, as Rick said, all this talk is not helping.

All I want from the TLX are:
-300+ hp SH-AWD option
-Lowest posible weight (Hopefuly around 3700 lbs)
-Standard features
-Decent OEM+ equipment (sorta like the Aero/Sport kit for the TSX)
-Reasonable price
-Manual

Honda has already confirmed two engines as well as FWD and AWD drivetrains.

Looks isn't really that important too me. I actually like the look of the current TL but I hope Acura doesn;t screw it up. Their latest designs/concept cars have been way too "pointy" for me.

Haha I was just reading that too. I would be livid. Have you checked the FB page for the dealership? Everyone is posting on their pictures talking about wrecked cars.
Edit: Someone made a new page for the dealership: https://www.facebook.com/Wewreckedazl1
Edit 2: The dealership removed their real page because of the comments.

This is a good video to watch, if any of you are into modding cars.

So I'm the only one that likes the look of the current TL? And yes I sorta like the Infiniti F. My neighbor has the blue F35 Limited edition which I sorta like. And I kinda like the Panamera (Don't like the new facelifted version). The guy who lives across from me has the Turbo one with some exhaust upgrade.

Whats a F35?
I'm sure
can correct me if I'm wrong but I heard the F10 M5's are hurting because their resale value is so bad. Heard a story about one losing $40k in value in ......... 3 months.
my friend was dead set on getting one but this fact alone turned him away.

If you can get a 3 month old M5 for 60-70k then it would be a bargain of a lifetime!
M5 never had great resale but its not that bad. Just looked on autotrader and you can get a used 2013 model with 12k miles for around $78k.
Sure didnt help that BMW did a small facelift for the 2014 models..
