Seeing that Skyline price just about makes me want to put my NSX back to stock and never drive it again. But not driving it would be unfair to my NSX

Saw it with a few non GT-R R32s being priced higher than normal in their first year or so, can't imagine it won't happen to R34s being overpriced initially as well.

Even at 30, the GMC Syclone is still one of the coolest small pickups ever made. With all of the rad vaporwave aesthetics of the day and a 280 hp turbocharged V6 that could threaten Ferraris, it casts a sinister shadow over every performance truck that comes out to this day.
This 1991 Syclone is offered without reserve, which may attract a few of the buyers that the high mileage scared away. With 117,400 miles (188,936 km) on the clock, this sure has been driven a lot in its time, though it still looks pretty good considering. The seller reports that there are some paint chips up front, which you’d expect, and a bit of rust on the underbody, which isn’t surprising either. Wear on the driver’s seat, some cracks in the dash and scratches on the interior plastic also show this truck’s age.
Depending on your point of view, the mods that this truck has undergone could also be a consideration. Originally powered by a 4.3-liter turbocharged V6 engine making 280 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, this one now has a PTE44 turbo, an air-to-air intercooler, 42 psi fuel injectors, an ATR downpipe and exhaust, a B&M 2,400 rpm torque converter, and a performance ECU chip from Tuning Tweaks.
It also has a new rear sway bar and front coilover suspension, as well as a faster steering box to help it handle a little better, and it’s gotten a 4-wheel disc brake conversion with ABS delete. The wheels are in the style of a Corvette ZR1, which makes them era-appropriate and add to the truck’s sinister vibe.
It does sound like this truck has been through a serious overhaul. The turbo was rebuilt at 115,900 miles and before that it had recently had new tie rods, ball joints, driveshaft u-joints, A/C compressor, heater core, and ignition system installed. The transfer case was rebuilt just before that though no accidents came up in its CarFax report.
So far, this Syclone has reached a high bid of $16,000 with three days left to go on Cars & Bids. It will be interesting to see how high the price goes as the fashion for modern classics propels prices ever higher.

From a ’70 Lamborghini Miura to a 64′ Shelby Cobra: The Late Neil Peart’s Car Collection Is Heading to Auction
The vehicles represent some of the most sought-after Italian, British and American cars of the last 60 years.
[/QUOTE]Gooding & Company
Few drummers rank higher in the rock pantheon than the late Neil Peart, but music wasn’t his only passion. The Rush member, who died last year following a three-year battle with brain cancer, was also a huge car buff, and now some of the most prized rides are up for grabs.
In August, Gooding & Company will auction off a collection of cars Peart lovingly called his “Silver Surfers” on behalf of his estate. The vehicles in the collection represent some of the most sought-after Italian, British and American cars of the last 60 years. And, true to their nickname, most of them are silver.

A new record was set on Bring a Trailer on Friday, following the sale of a 1935 Duesenberg Model JN Convertible Sedan by Rollston. The virtual hammer came down at $1,341,000, beating the previous record by a little over $100,000.
Built to be among the fastest, most luxurious cars of its day, the legendary car brand has long held a fascination for American collectors thanks to its scale and luxury. This one was first purchased by Herbert N Lape Sr. of Cincinnati, a prominent figure in the shoe industry.
The car moved to California before too long and moved around a bit after that, before finding a home at the Imperial Palace Casino in Las Vegas from 1993 to 1998. After a refurbishment, it was purchased by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Foundation in 2000 and incorporated into the IMS Museum where it stayed until this sale.
In its time at the museum, it participated in several parades and events held at the legendary track and gave Ferrari drivers Rubens Barrichello and Michael Schumacher a ride at the F1 US Grand Prix pre-race parade. It was also featured at the IPL 500 Festival, and the 2019 ACD Club Reunion car show.
The Duesenberg JN was powered by a 6.9-liter straight-eight engine that produced 265 hp (198 kW) here and could produce up to 320 hp (240 kW) in its supercharged configuration. Although the engine appears to be original with numbers matching, this car has gone through some appearance changes. It was finished in red once upon a time before the body was painted yellow with the fenders remaining red (in a combination that would doubtless please Ronald McDonald). The current dark blue paintwork with red pinstripe was chosen in the late ’90s.
Now that it has ascended into its role as the most expensive car ever sold by Bring a Trailer, it has displaced the previous record-holder, a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing that sold for $1,234,567 in 2019, according to BaT.

If you need a strong hit of 1990s nostalgia or just really appreciate ground-breaking supercars, this McLaren F1 should do the trick. With just 242 miles on the odometer, it's about as close to a brand-new F1 as you can get, and it's scheduled to cross the block at the Gooding & Company Pebble Beach auction set to take place Aug. 11-14.
Almost 30 years after its introduction, the F1 remains an icon thanks to innovative design features like a central driving position, carbon-fiber bodywork (a novelty at the time), and a gold-lined engine bay. It's also wonderfully analog, sporting a high-revving 6.1-liter BMW V-12 coupled to a 6-speed manual transaxle.
Those ingredients made the F1 the fastest production car of its time, with a top speed of 240 mph, and helped it earn victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. Not a bad resumé.
This particular F1, chassis 029, spent most of its life sequestered in a Japanese collection before being sold to an owner in the U.S. It still wears date-coded Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, and is the only F1 finished in Creighton Brown, a color named after a McLaren executive, according to the listing.
Spanning 1992 to 1998, McLaren F1 production totaled 106 cars, and chassis 029 is the 25th road car, according to the listing. In addition to the standard road car, McLaren built a handful of GTR race cars, a commemorative LM road car to celebrate the Le Mans victory, and a GTR Longtail racer, which was designed to keep the F1 competitive against newer machinery.
Good & Company expects this car to sell for more than $15 million, which would be in line with recent prices. The first U.S. street-legal F1 sold for $15.6 million in 2017, and a 2,100-mile example was listed for sale with a $24 million asking price in 2018.

Man, I could buy a lot of cars I'd much rather have for $15M plus price tag of that McLaren and they wouldn't be museum pieces either that I'd be too afraid to drive.

This should be interesting to watch; 6-speed 612. 45K on the odo, currently at $121K which is above what most 612s are going for apparently. But, for contrast, there are 2 other 6-speed 612s on the US market, both at 6K miles. 1 is POA, but the other is $400,000 so the value of the very last 6-speed Ferraris is still there outside the 599.

The Jaguar E-Type is considered by many to be the most beautiful car ever built, and that's particularly true of the first-generation, Series 1 cars. And while there are plenty of gorgeously restored examples, there can't be too many unrestored E-Types as well preserved as this 1965 roadster that will cross the block at the Gooding Pebble Beach Auction next month.
Finished in black with a black top and matching interior, this E-Type was sold new to Ronald Goldstein, of East Longmeadow, Mass. The car remained with its original family until earlier this year, acquiring just over 8,000 miles before it was retired to the garage in 1972.
Owing to its long storage, the exterior is dusty, light surface rust is visible on the bumper, and the plastic rear window is cloudy. But the car appears remarkably intact, particularly the interior. According to Gooding, this Jaguar retains its numbers-matching powertrain, a 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six engine and four-speed manual transmission, wears its factory paint, and even rolls on its original Dunlop tires. It also has its original Blaupunkt radio, factory soft top, convertible top boot, maintenance booklet, warranty card, and more.
This has to be one of the most original Series 1 E-Types left in existence. We expect bidders will be raising their paddles high for this one. The dilemma for the winner will be whether to wash off that 56-year accumulation of dust and let this Jag's original beauty shine through.

Stunning. Had no idea Zanasi did the repaint, but that's the absolute company you want handling this sort of car so there's no concerns about its respray. Joe Macari is a super reputable company as well.
I'd think whoever bought this did so without any concern given how by-the-books collectors are about about collector cars.

What a stunning car. Blue looks SO good on that
£1m ($1.375m) seems a bit low though, no? Maybe because of the mileage?
