And once again he defends the Acura badge citing the others have bad mirror designs and Acura's are the best

It is not just Acura but Honda has superior styling with squarish designs.
Even 5speed Auto Accord V6 coupe is faster than 6AT Hyundai Turbo. Imagine if this Accord coupe gets 6AT. It will put Hyundai turbo to shame in performance/handling and fuel economy. Only Accord Coupe Weight and size matches Hyundai Sonata turbo.
V6 Accord sedan is 200 lbs heavier. Honda Accord is still the bench mark in looks and it will age very well.

Just for giggles...
Wow, shocking!
Uhh, Toyota/Lexus sell a lot more higher priced SUVs, much less an F segment sedan and pick-ups, than Honda/Acura.
And that is why Acura is not seen as a Tier 1 luxury brand, even by Honda/Acura execs.
LOL!
Let's see what Phil Patton, a teacher at the School of Visual Arts in New York and automobile-design writer for the New York Times says.
Honda/Acura: grade C-
Hyundai: B+
Kia: A-

Aside from the Accord copying BMW's Hofmeister kink for the greenhouse/C-pillar, the taillights extension is taken from BMW as well.

Acura ought to have a movie tie-in deal: With its breve-shaped metal mouths, its cars look more like the original Transformer toys than any of the GM products that are featured in those “films.”
Honda’s cars used to look a lot better. The mission statement of Honda design lists “people” as one of three key inputs, but the company rarely singles out any people on its design staff. Few are mentioned by name—at least outside the California studio, where Dave Marek of Honda and Jon Ikeda of Acura are at work.
There’s design that celebrates engineering and efficiency, like that of the practical Fit. But why the unnatural affection for fastback rooflines that descend with the sickening skid of a recent 401k value chart, as on the ZDX and the Crosstour?

Okay...sorry, how does side mirrors have anything to do with monthly sales? Sorry, I'm missing something here.

Alright, SSFTSX...This has gone off-tangent enough. If you want to go talk about the "elegance" of said cars, start a thread in Car Talk...

^ aside from the un-Honda gas mileage, it's a pretty good vehicle for city folks who make the occasional trip to Home Depot and don't want a Ranger or something bigger like the Avalanche.
I still think Honda made it a tad on the big side, hope it gets a 2nd gen and downsized a bit for lower wt, better gas mileage & maneuvarability (the hoodline is pretty bad from the driver's seat).
