You could put it in an AWD Crosstour.
I think the interesting question here is, to what applications can this be applied?
Supercharged Ridgeline?
Odyssey?
Does it fit the 3.7, how about a supercharged 3.7 SH-AWD Acura!

That appears to be a thread full of maybes, no actual product that you can purchase at a Honda store.

All I'm saying is, you're late to the party.
this isnt any exciting news.
a super charger will only gain so much.
now, do you know who is HOT SHIT!?!?!?
J&R!!!!!!!!
thats who.
#2613
They why are you saying it's "ALREADY BEEN DONE"?
I know lots of aftermarket examples of turbos and superchargers exist, but to my knowledge, none are factory warrantied. Am I missing something here?
#2614
those are question marks, are they not?
they maybe, maybe's but they're a lot closer than what you have proposed.

I have three puppies at home, and they understand the situation better than you do for sure.

I wouldn't naysay this, as 64 hp added to any car would be great, let alone from a factory tuner.
However, it'll be interesting to see what sort of premium they slap on something like this. IMO, it won't be a cheap solution.

I'll ask again...What are they going to do about torque steer?
Putting a supercharger on a vehicle is not difficult. 3G TL owners have been putting comptech chargers on their cars since the 3G came out. It's no big deal. I know...factory waranty is nice...if you want a FWD charged car.

Wow.
I guess I should get a moderator to just delete this pointless piece of information I tried to share.
Forgive me AcuraZINE community. It appears this was a waste of space by reading all the post here.
I'll try to refrain from posting news about new products from Honda in the future.

I apologize profusely. I missed the tread about the Acura Dealership doing this same development.
I'll do a lot more research in the future before I pollute the forum with new information.

I'll admit I'm ignorant when it comes to these Sema cars. But does anything ever come of them? Its all fine and dandy that we can supercharge the Accord and add a V8 to the Genesis coupe but unless it comes from the factory with a warranty and properly sorted suspension I could care less. Just my

The web of mystery continues — Mazda is no longer the only automaker with a spider problem.
The same yellow sac spider that sparked a recall of 65,000 Mazda6 sedans also likes to nest in Honda Accords.
Honda Motor Co. hasn't announced a recall but has notified its dealers to be on the lookout for the spider. The company has issued what is known as a technical service bulletin telling Honda mechanics how to fix the problem.
"It was the same scenario and the same breed of spider. It would get in there and create a blockage that would create problems," said Chris Martin, a Honda spokesman.
Honda doesn't have a record of how many times it has spotted the problem but said it was big enough to put out the alert. Otherwise, mechanics could be spending many hours searching for the source of the problem, and that would run up the bill for Honda if the cars were still under warranty, or for the owners after the warranty expired.
Martin said Honda believes the spider, whose Latin name is Cheiracanthium inclusum, is crawling into the system through the fuel tank door on the outside of the car. The doors fit snugly but are not airtight, to avoid trapping water and debris, he said.
From there the bug probably is crawling down the vent hole, where there is a hidden, snug space, he said.
"It seems pretty random, and we don't have data on regions," Martin said.
Among Hondas, the spider problem shows up the most often in 2008 and 2009 model-year Accords. Mazda Motor Corp. is finding the spiders in Mazda6 cars from the 2009 and 2010 model years.
Mazda said spiders nesting in tiny rubber hoses linked to fuel tank systems could cause pressurization and ventilation problems in certain cars. That could lead to fuel leaks or even fires, though there are no reports of such incidents.
The yellow sac spider is indigenous to all but the most northern states in the U.S. and accounts for a large percentage of spider bites in America. For most people, the bites lead to about the same irritation as a mosquito bite, although in some cases they cause a more severe reaction.

EDIT: I'm probably asking too much -- particularly with respect to the venue -- but how about HFP throw some direct injection and other NA goodies get those extra ponies. For crying out loud, they pulled 300hp on an NA J30A motor back in 1998 with the 6G based Accord Coupe R.....13 years, a blower and .5 liters later, this is all they can come up with? again.

Now how about a SH-AWD CL

Hybrid
The Japanese based automaker Honda is planning to introduce a hybrid version of its popular Accord model sometimes next year.
According to the car manufacturer, a hybrid version of the Honda Accord will be hitting the showrooms in 2012, with the announcement being made at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Honda Motor president, Takanobu Ito, has also confirmed the company’s intentions in an interview with Bloomberg, but the official didn’t reveal any details about the upcoming “green” Accord. Sadly we don’t know any more details about the 2012 Honda Accord Hybrid but a 2.0 liter based hybrid powertrain has been presented to the public at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show, which might be implemented to the model.
As a reminder, the Honda Accord is a compact mid-size vehicle made by Honda since 1976 and sold in a lot of markets around the world. The Honda Accord has become the first Japanese car to be manufactured in the United States in 1982, at the Marysville, Ohio plant. The eighth generation of the Accord in the U.S. remains larger and different than the Japanese or European versions and comes with a 2.4 liter engine (177 BHP, 161 lb-ft) for sedans and 190 BHP with 162 lb-ft for coupes, along with a 3.5 liter V6 generating 272 BHP and 254 lb-ft of torque.

Dear Mr. Gnaticov (writer of the above article),
If you plan to be successful writing for the automotive industry you must learn to avoid terms like "compact mid-sized" and realize that you'll confuse people if you refer to cars in the year in which they come out vs. referring to cars by their MY designation.
Sincerely,
Biker, who has some doubts about some folks who write for car rags.

The sizzle in the Steak
I think Honda will have learned by this time that it needs to be paired with a 4cyl and not a V6.
...and it better be far and away better than the Camry Hybrid....which got incredibly better in the current gen....talk about an MPG jump!
