Oh, and Its not a good value compared to the TSX, nor is it a good value compared to the new MMC Accord, especially when the MMC gets 95% of its tech and then some for less.

TSX has double wishbone suspension, tight turning circle as good as Civic, much quieter and refined engine noise when you accelerate from 80 to 120mph. car is very implanted it pulled 0.86g on C&D test compared to 0.82g by Accord touring. The fit/finish much higher grade than Accord. very timeless aggressive design. Just look at a the 5 year old TSX.
Most think the 2nd gen TSX looks like a fat fucking pig, compared to the first gen. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Once again, your argument is null and void. And retarded.
I also had the 1G TSX. The design is tall and narrow like Corrolla. and certainly much less refined and narrow seats than 2G TSX.
2G TSX is very high quality product. Look at the gauges and steering wheel, wide seats, console with cup holder, expensive mirror design.

Honestly, at this point, maybe Acura being a thing of the past is a good thing. Besides a different design language between the two (and admittedly, not hugely different), there is little difference between the two.
Kill the TLX. Let the Accord continue its reign.
Slap a Honda badge on the new NSX, like it will have in most places around the world.
Offer another trim level on the Civic and kill the ILX.
Bring the RDX over.
Kill the MDX by adding another trim level to the Pilot. Then again, spruce up the Pilot a bit more to make room for the RDX below it.
And the RLX? At this point, just kill it. What's the point.
Kill the TLX. Let the Accord continue its reign.
Slap a Honda badge on the new NSX, like it will have in most places around the world.
Offer another trim level on the Civic and kill the ILX.
Bring the RDX over.
Kill the MDX by adding another trim level to the Pilot. Then again, spruce up the Pilot a bit more to make room for the RDX below it.
And the RLX? At this point, just kill it. What's the point.
There have always been a lot of mdxs around. It's Acura's bread and butter. But to keep the company going because of one model doesn't make much sense. The new accord is snipping at the TLXs heals in a major way. Sales numbers still aren't that great for the TLX and by killing it off it would likely help the accord sales.
Accord Touring is $34K. Base 2.4 TLX is $32K and it won't have all the tech the MMC Accord will be getting which includes:
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (not available on any TLX)
- New 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen interface and HD radio
- Honda Sensing™ which includes:
- Remote engine start
- 19-inch wheels
- Heated rear seats
- 60/40 split and folding rear seat
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Rain-sensing windshield wipers

For $2k more, what does it have that the Accord Touring doesn't? we don't know the hp/tq, but we do know that it has a ttv6 and two electronic motors. similar set ups tend go for much higher dollars.

On what fvcking planet is a 2G TSX a good car? It was and still is a massive epic fail on Acura's part which was made even worse by adding the V6 option. The 1G TSX takes a steaming sh1t on the 2G every day and twice on Sunday.

It is very sad indeed that the Acura brand doesn't have a global footprint, especially more so by its absence in the domestic HOME market.
