I actually like the saddle interior. It doesn't look so bad in red. Holy crap, they actually used real aluminum.

Really not a fan of the lower part of the front bumper. Too much going on there IMO.

And 17's wheels should not be available on a car this big. They should have went with standard 18's on the base and 19's on the SH.

That would make it even closer to the RL though.

My God.... that is one ugly f#@k....

Look at the rear left fender in this angle. Looks like the rear end cut chopped off. Ugliest design for the world record.

17 looks horrendously small on this TL.

Who cares. It already has more or the same of everything else, what difference will wheels make.

I don't think Acura is worried about hurting the 200 a month RL's that they are selling.

^ Yep

I just hope it doesn't wrinkle as much as 3G TLs. Mine's all wrinkled as hell, although I don't weight much.

I think the car looks a bit better with a darker color. In silver and white the car is just terrible. I don't know who designs Acura cars these days. Maybe there's a reason such people's names are not publicized.

Let the sales number be the judgment. I will stick with Honda and BMW.

I agree. Silver and white are just awful since the silver of the grill doesn't match with either. At least the contrast with a darker color makes the awful grill look...uhhh....better

I did a quick little chop of the foglights, rear reflectors and debadged it. I'm not so great at changing the colors so someone else could do that.

1. Holy shit that brown interior is dead sexy! The interior over all, although a bit busy, is actually pretty nice and is growing on me fast!

2. The exterior is growing on me too. I still think the 3G TL looks better but I think over time it'll grow.

On the red car the exterior doesn't look bad at all.

Ultimately though, I'm going to reserve my judgement until I see it in person. So far it doesn't look like the abomination most of you make it out to be though. Just my opinion

So is this new TL going up against the 3series,G37 sedan, and IS350? OR the ES350 What a total let down. And why the hell are they trying to create a new CUV I'm rooting for acura, but man they really know how to turn people off!

lol thanks man Yea, no kidding, cars are getting bigger and heavier! IMO though the new TL is doing alright, not the best, yet it’s also not the worst in weight control. The 3G TL-S 6MT is at 34xx to 3515 lbs (depending on the source), the TL-S 5AT is at 36xxlbs according to Acura website. Edmunds says the 4G TL SH-AWD with 5AT is at 3986lbs, not sure if it is right or not, let’s assume it is for now. It also says that’s about 300lbs more than the 08 TL-S (it does not mention 6MT or 5AT). It also says the 4G TL FWD 5AT is 100lbs more than before, but by before, which model does it refer to? If it refers to a 04 TL 6MT, then 100lbs more means the 4G TL AWD 5AT is at 35xx lbs, that would make the Sh-AWD 400lbs heavier than the FWD model. But if it’s referring to the 08 TL-S 5AT, then 3600lbs + 100lbs = 37xxlb, then the SH-AWD only adds 200lbs. Actually if that’s the case, then the SH-AWD actually doesn’t add 200lbs, as that 200lbs would also include some extra features (such as bigger rims). It would be much better if Edmunds could make it clearer for us. But nonetheless IMO that’s a pretty positive review.

MT, you have a very nasty habit that you'll crack right up every time you read about other cars having a lower or matching 0-60 number than your IS350.
