Accord ain't goin moar low, brother...she can barely handle as low as it is now!
Plus, she likes how it looks...but not enough to spend another few hundred on coils!
...door check!!! dog check!!!!

What about putting the A-Specs back on her car? They looked great!

That's MR KRAMER to you!
Glad to hear it, man...it's hard to explain the frantic sinking feeling of losing a pet, even just for 5 minutes. My old bitch, Sunny is the escape artist...she just kinda romes around if she gets loose.

Anisette, on the other hand...knows where her bread is buttered.
![](http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y232/swimex37/beautiful%20people/myspaceanis.jpg)
And nope...no aspecs for her since she showed me she doesn't know how to avoid curbing.![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Thanks man...yeah, trust me, I feel the same way. I split the cost of new tires and let her rock them for a while. then she put a foot long curbing on one...luckily they already were a little curbed so i didn't sweat it, but I decided to take them off. Plus, I'm kinda nuts and I constantly swap between the work emotions and the aspecs on my own car and it was double the work to have to put her stockies back on. Lately I've been leaving the works on though...
Thanks about the dogs...they are my girls and I love em very much.
Annie is now a 65 pound loveable sleeper. She is definitely Daddy's girl. Sunny is a wanderer and kinda just minds her own business.

Got up early yesterday...decided to wash car and put on a coat of optimum poli seal to get me thru the brutal summer weather. Then got inspired to change up a few things on the car. Might keep em, might not...you'll see.

Yeah brother, and let's face it. Would we love a type S...no doubt...would we be willing to pay taxes again and add 20k to what we owe (if anything) to repurchase the same vehicle (for all practical purposes). Fck no. I've been in that position twice already...once with KBP and once with CBP, the only two colors that type S's come in that make my dk hard and I didn't pull the trigger. And I don't regret it one bit. I'm keeping this car till the mods are paid off in car payments (from not getting a new one) and then when I do sell her, I'll sell the mods FOR my down payment on my next car.
Want:
Some serious HP
AWD or RWD
vented seats
auto up/down all 4 or 2 windows
decent gas mileage
versatility.
The technology is getting there...to have all those in one.
OR I'll get one that fits most of those and keep ma TL since I love her so much.

MATT
Carpet on the dash looks awesome? Hmm not to me...but to cover a cracked dash I guess its better than spending the $$ to have it fixed...I've decided to keep my type S...I work to damn hard and much to not drive what I want to...so mods are evident just down the road
#660
What's up Matt...
Yeah, I agree...not my first choice, but when thinking about carpet on a dash I want to puke...so that said, once I saw how it came out, it looks awesome to me.
I got a killer deal on my 04 or I'd still be driving my RSX type S...I agree...drive what you love! With one caviat...it has to be worth it to you!
If I were in the market for a TL...I wouldn't settle for anything less than a type S 6 speed...but since I have what I have...I would definitely not upgrade to that.

Like they say in the movie Transformers....you dont pick the car, the car picks you....I believe that what happened to me...I feel this car is extremely lucky for me and I dont wanna mess anything up by selling her....

I can agree with that, buddy^^^
If that's the case, mine is a love story...comes with all ups and downs of any relationship.
The car has problems here and there but most of them I cause myself by modding. But then I love it so much because it's modded. On 12/30/03 I went to Acura with my stepdad because my Mom was sick of him not being able to pick a car. I originally really wanted to buy his 99 TL but didn't have the money to. We showed up on the showroom floor...the new 3G Tl's were out and there was one black on black "sport" edition (later known as aspec) that I became infatuated with. I test drove it with him and told him he needed to buy that car and I would buy it from him when the time came. 5 years and 34K miles later...it was mine!
She chose me, you are right.

its funny how I got my car.....Back on 15th May 2007....I had actually gone in for a Red 2004 with 40K miles....down to the paperwork, he said 27K, I said 20...he wudnt come down 24K....I was stubborn at 22K LOL....
right then I laid my eyes on this black TL with grey interiors (I thought it was black interior until I saw Paz's 06 black on black LOL)....but yeah she was just sitting in the showroom smiling at me....i went to the car and kinda felt her up....it seemed perfect....
it was an 05 with 58K miles (the original owner drove the car 58K miles in 23 months, my guess was all highway)....the sticker said 27999....I told him am not up for debate, if he can do 22500 on this one, will buy it now else am off to the BMW dealership....
he came back shook my hand and we were golden...
funny thing....i didnt test drive the car....to test drive a car you need insurance and to get insurance you need to buy a car....this is my first car in the US....so i just went with the flow and got the car, got the insurance and picked her up on 22nd May 2007....

I get the same feeling all the time rockstar. MInor faullts most of which are caused by myself when modding so it would be unfair to blame the car. Just 30 mins ago I made an agreement with my gf for her to drive it while I drive behind so I can fall in love again. LOl on the matter of a type-s, I was getting a killer deal on a KBP and I was on the way to the dealer who was 2 hrs away telling myself I was just gonna look because it didnt make much sense financially. About halfway, the guy called and said it is sold. I guess I could say the car wanted me to stay. A year later and after upgrades, she is still sexy as fuck! I guess we should just learn to settle as is the case with women lol

^^^Funny, none of us feel like we got the short end of the stick here with our bases...
we should post this set of posts in every "my type s is so much better threads".
Ps...CBP is where it's at, buddy! That's probably the one thing about my car I WOULD change. The color...NBP is smooth and sectsy but so hard to maintain and I'm super critical of all the imperfections.

Dude...understatement of the century. I toil and sweat over my NBP...wax, polish, baby...still has visible swirls and imperfections. My fiance's car, I clean it every 2 times I clean mine and her's ALWAYS looks clean (SSM). That said, nothing looks as good as a clean black car...but fk...never again.

Thanks man...yeah, never again. I love it...but I also hate it. White shows dirt MORE imo though...but not scratches and imperfections obviously.
GP...change is definitely good if we're ready for it. Wasn't ready for you to take shift the focus of your avatar to include the car.
PS...you have probably got to get an award for most mentioned avatar. I know I've seen it mentioned in many, many threads.

Veggie,
I did it myself the first go around, and then had it professionally done. I have the entire grill painted but felt like putting the silver pieces back on to give that "beak" look again (since I bought a second set from a forum member). My recommendations would be to be sure you want it painted, sand down the plastic/metal piece...do 2 light coats and 1 heavy coat and then clear. Wetsand lightly with 3000 gritt and buff. It makes it look SHINY!!!!
Follow paint instructions, I kept spraying it too thick and not allowing enough time between coats.
