Ok...enjoying the wingless look, but the trunk holes being exposed is driving me nuts and to be honest...it looks clean and sleek, but it's missing something. I realize now how much I really love that spoiler on the car. It's going back on this weekend.

Noooooooooo!!

Even though I would never put the wing spoiler on my car, it just looks right on your car.

Thank you, bud.

I can never make up my mind...ghost tails...no ghost tails...type s diffuser in headlight or blacked out amber... I do think it looks clean and if I did commit to body work and paint I would definitely put the lip spoiler on along with roof...but I keep thinking about that extra beefiness it gives the back (especially with how low I am) and it matches the body lines well and I love how it is angled back toward the car rather than some of the cheesy spoilers I've seen.

If I didn't do all this though, I'd be bored and be back to thinking about selling her. I wish I had a 10 car garage so I could have a car that is good at everything...AWD, RWD, good on gas, a truck, a lowrider, an old school muscle car. OH YEAH!

I do, don't I! If this were the 1980's that probably would have had a different connotation!

I have a few new ones I'll email you, if you're in the mood. Thanks again man. I LOVE that last one!

A little update here:

DO NOT BUY EBAY JPOWER CAMBER KITS for the rear...turns out everyone that told me it was shit was right. Look at those bushings. Ironically, was running about as much negative camber as I am with the OEM cambers arms to no harm there. Going for an aligment this week. Those bushings are definitely not as good a quality as OEM or the name brand ones. Still have the front bolt but it's just metal and holding strong so no harm there.

Also, found time to install the HID reverse lights. Light up the road VERY nicely. Also installed tailgater switch, although ended up opting for a momentary one. That will prevent accidentally leaving it on and melting the housing and possibly having a cop see it.

Not too hard. I DO have a question, I used 12V from my power wire going to my amps. When there is no source noise, I get a pop when I kick it into reverse. Think I can get rid of that sound by adding a one way diode to keep voltage from feeding back into the system?

Different approach, used H11 bulbs since I wanted to have a backup set and ballast for my accord fogs.
Use 1 screw and some wire and the stock screw to hold in place rather than JB weld.
Works well and doesn't budge.

Ran the wire up and around the factory wiring:

and that's it!

COOL MOD!

And last but not least, today I installed the Image Dynamic speakers I bought from IHC in the rear.

Great speakers, can take a bit less than the massive audio's as far as bass frequency before distortion and loudness, but they pair up very well with them for my rear fill now. Those with the 12's in the back, balance out very well to sound very nice, crisp, loud and clear.

Very very happy.

Install took me quite a while...put some focus into finding any and all rattles while I had the back out. Found the upper bracket for the center seat belt was rattling a bit, so added some deadener under it, also behind the headrests the the little doors to the anchor system were making noise so I opened them. And in the hole where the factory sub was there was a weird vibrating noise, shoved some slivers of wood in there to stop that.

Built some MDF baffles...not my best work, but got the job done. Mounted the MDF to the factor 3 holes, then filled in with plumber's putty, and predrilled the holes for the 4 screws that hold the speaker in. That way I could hand tighten with my stubby screwdriver in the limited space. Perfect fit.

tied the tweeters up using string and screws to the center hole where the sub used to be, didn't want to cut the rear shelf if I didn't have to, I know the imaging probably isn't perfect, but it puts the clear sound out where it needs to be, between the rear head rests.

cut away the extra plastic baffle as it wouldn't fit over my new mdf one

and here are the mids, installed...

Forgot to snap a pic, but I installed the crossovers between the rear seat and my sub box, won't move around there, accessible from the pass thru etc and didn't want anything extra to rattle up on the shelf up top.

Took about 6 hours to do everything, but well worth it, those 10 year old infinity entry level couldn't keep up at all with the massive's up front, even as rear fill. These image dynamics fit the bill perfectly. Thanks again for the deal IHC, much appreciated!

J.

Thanks fellas,
Yes, we sure do!
I was so close to ordering the high power LED's but they were $40 and the HID's from DDM (even the slim ones) were $40 so I went that route (was also ordering for a friend so I piggybacked on their order to save on shipping). Another $10 in parts from Radio shack and I was in business.

So I DON'T want you pimpin those out becuase I changed it all back already...spoiler back on and relowered so, that said, I don't want amazing pictures to tempt me to change things back

So...I'll send from my next batch of pictures. Thanks for not forgetting me, though! ha ha...

Ok...I thanked you! You know that!
AND, no sir...now I'm jealous, you can't go around just editing EVERYONE's pictures!

Yeah, I won't say I DIDN'T like the look, but 2 things...I don't like having to have body work done...I won't switch with someone else who wants a wing spoiler cause I keep all my stock stuff in case I change my mind and to be honest, after a while of it being off, I missed seeing it on there. I like how the car looks with it since it follows the shape of the trunk pretty well.

Switchblade key ftw! I'll get one eventually. It's hard to justify $180 for something that doesn't need to be replaced.

Wow brother...sorry to hear that. That is ridiculous...I think you should talk to the manager and tell them to give you another key and pay the other $60 for milling it. You specifically told them what needed to be done.
