Yeah, Sean is the man...very nicely done. I love it. Thanks again!

They're holding up pretty well...they're WORK though...not Volk. I don't have that kinda money . The valvestems show a little fading but nothing you'd notice unless you were waxing the rims and were up close. The lugs...ever since I sanded them and redid the 3 coats of anodized blue and 4 coats of clear and torqued down by hand and no gun...they've been holding up just fine! Get the job done of adding the blue color to tie in the valve stems and don't cost a lot. I was so close to ordering the WORK ones...but man, I couldn't decide between the short closed ones or the long open ones and they weren't really locks and the 1 lock in the set LOOKED different...so i cleaned these up and am happy they are all locks and look uniform.

what kind of P&S do you have? does it have a good zoom to it?

usually when i take pictures i try to take them from angles i never see in those magazine shoots. take them from your knee, usually that helps out a TON on how they come out. i'm about 6' even...i think it's the perfect height for a good shot.

example:

stock suspension too. makes it look massive lol. and ps, this was from MY PHONE!

also, if you want some "edgier" photo's, use as little zoom as possible, and take your pictures from the different corners of the car

another example, this was with a simple portrait lens on my dslr and about 1' off the ground

Angles for pictures are EVERYTHING...I LOVE the ant's view of shooting flat on my stomach at an angle.

Yeah, my gorillas were blue originally but after hitting them with an impact gun a few times they chipped...if you put them in a tupperware with goof off you can actually get them back down to the metal. Then paint them whatever anodized color you like.

Hey all, was out of town for a few weeks...dawned on me that I never mentioned my amp'd emblems since I did that before I started this thread...here are some older shots and a link to the thread I had made for it. Hope everyone is well!

I get a lot of compliments wherever I go with this thing, it's AWESOME!

Not a problem, friend...very hard to do them justice in pictures, honestly...if you saw them in person, you'd own some!
Trust me, I know.

Well since I'm a pic whore...I went out today and took some more pics. I know some of them are overdone, but I was messing around with them and liked how they came out.

Hope you guys enjoy! Was in Europe for 2 weeks...loved it, and saw not ONE TL over there (duh)...missed my car. Got back and: regreased my slave cylinder, got rid of the rear deck rattle from the bass, fixed my reverse led's, remade a new sidemarker relay and wired it up, cleaned and greased my battery terminals, and cleaned the car.

Busy few days...mentally ready to go back to work on Monday now.

You guys are way too nice, thank you. Believe it, all these shots were taken on a quick drive down a local road. Stopped every time I saw a nice backdrop. Also am starting to realize that a little less is more in reference to touching up.

they look wide as heck! at stock height, you'd have no problems...lowered you'd probably need a roll and a pull!

Thanks a lot flipster!

Thanks man...yeah, tell me about it. It was bittersweet...I had just put the HFP kit on it...but was majorly upside down on it with Gap insurance. I actually got nailed while I was working so the whole incident cost me $100 deductible and wiped clean a negative 6 grand. I was paying $405 a month on the si and went and bought a new RSX and was paying $425. It was perfect.

No kidding...and I didn't get one scratch on me either...plus, the insurance dude was nice so he actually let me keep my EP wheels. He literally told me "as long as it rolls" he didn't care. So I went to a junkyard and bought 4 doughnuts and slapped em on. Don't know if you noticed the EP wheels on the RSX...
